1 و َهَذِهِ هِيَ أسماءُ قَبائِلِ إسرائِيلَ وَحِصَصُهُمْ: حِصَّةُ قَبِيلَةِ دانَ، تَبدَأُ بِالزّاوِيَةِ الشَّمالِيَّةِ الغَربِيَّةِ عِندَ حَثلُونَ وَلِبُو حَماةَ، إلَى حَصْرَ عِينَانَ عَلَى الحُدُودِ بَينَ دِمَشقَ وَحَماةَ فِي الشَّمالِ. فَلَها حِصَّةٌ واحِدَةٌ مِنَ الشَّرقِ إلَى الغَربِ.

And these are the names of the tribes: From the north end along the way of Hethlon, as one entereth into Hamath, Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus northward unto near Hamath—the east and west side to him—shall Dan have one.

2 و َقَبيلَةُ أشِيرَ، لَها حِصَّةٌ واحِدَةٌ عَلَى حُدُودِ أرضِ دانَ مِنَ الشَّرقِ إلَى الغَربِ.

And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, Asher one.

3 و َقَبيلَةُ نَفتالِي، لَها حِصَّةٌ واحِدَةٌ عَلَى حُدُودِ أرضِ أشِيرَ مِنَ الشَّرقِ إلَى الغَربِ.

And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, Naphtali one.

4 و َقَبيلَةُ مَنَسَّى، لَها حِصَّةٌ واحِدَةٌ عَلَى حُدُودِ أرضِ نَفتالِي مِنَ الشَّرقِ إلَى الغَربِ.

And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, Manasseh one.

5 و َقَبيلَةُ أفْرايِمَ، لَها حِصَّةٌ واحِدَةٌ عَلَى حُدُودِ أرضِ مَنَسَّى مِنَ الشَّرقِ إلَى الغَربِ.

And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, Ephraim one.

6 و َقَبيلَةُ رَأُبَيْنَ، لَها حِصَّةٌ واحِدَةٌ عَلَى حُدُودِ أرضِ أفْرايِمَ مِنَ الشَّرقِ إلَى الغَربِ.

And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, Reuben one.

7 و َقَبيلَةُ يَهُوذا، لَها حِصَّةٌ واحِدَةٌ عَلَى حُدُودِ أرضِ رَأُبَيْنَ مِنَ الشَّرقِ إلَى الغَربِ. حِصَّةُ الكَهَنَةِ وَاللّاوِيِّينَ وَالمَدِينَة

And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, Judah one.

8 ث ُمَّ مِنَ الحُدُودِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ وَحَتَّى الغَربِ الحِصَّةُ المُقَدَّسَةُ، عَرضُها مِنَ الشَّمالِ إلَى الجَنُوبِ خَمسَةٌ وَعِشرُونَ ألفَ ذِراعٍ. وَطُولُها نَفسُ طُولِ حِصَصِ قَبائِلِ إسْرائِيلَ مِنَ الشَّرقِ إلَى الغَربِ. وَسَيَكُونُ الهَيكَلُ فِي وَسَطِ هَذِهِ الحِصَّةِ.

And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the heave-offering that ye shall offer, five and twenty thousand in breadth, and in length as one of the parts from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

9 و َسَتَكُونُ المِنطَقَةُ المُخَصَّصَةُ للهِ بِطُولِ خَمسٍ وَعِشرِينَ ذِراعاً وَعَرضِ عَشْرِ أذرُعٍ.

The heave-offering that ye shall offer unto Jehovah shall be five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth.

10 و َيَكُونُ امتِدادُ الأرْضِ المُخَصَّصَةِ لِلكَهَنَةِ خَمسَةً وَعِشرِينَ ألْفَ ذِراعٍ إلَى الشَّمالِ، وَعَشْرَةَ آلافِ ذِراعٍ إلَى الغَربِ، وَعَشْرَةَ آلافِ ذِراعٍ إلَى الشَّرقِ، وَخَمسَةً وَعِشرينَ ألفَ ذِراعٍ إلَى الجَنُوبِ. وَيَكُونُ هَيكلُ اللهِ فِي وَسَطِ هَذِهِ المِنطَقَةِ.

And for them, for the priests, shall be the holy heave-offering, toward the north five and twenty thousand, and toward the west the breadth ten thousand, and toward the east the breadth ten thousand, and toward the south the length five and twenty thousand: and the sanctuary of Jehovah shall be in the midst of it.

11 ت َكُونُ تِلكَ الأرْضُ لِلكَهَنَةِ المُكَرَّسِينَ مِنْ نَسلِ صادُوقَ، الَّذِينَ بَقُوا أُمَناءً فِي القِيامِ بِما أُوكِلَ إلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أعمالٍ، وَلَمْ يَنحَرِفُوا مَعَ بَقِيَّةِ بَني إسْرائِيلَ حِينَ انحَرَفَ اللّاوِيُّونَ الآخَرُونَ وَابتَعَدُوا عَنِّي.

for the priests that are hallowed of the sons of Zadok, who kept my charge and went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.

12 ف َسَيَنالُ الكَهنَةُ أقدَسَ حِصَّةٍ مِنَ الأرْضِ، عَلَى الحُدُودِ الشَّمالِيَّةِ لِحِصَّةِ اللّاوِيِّينَ.

And this offering heaved from the heave-offering of the land shall be unto them a thing most holy, by the border of the Levites.

13 و َسَتَكُونُ حِصَّةُ اللّاوِيِّينَ إلَى الجَنُوبِ مِنْ حِصَّةِ الكَهنَةِ، بِطُولِ خَمْسَةٍ وَعِشرِينَ ألفَ ذِراعٍ مِنَ الشَّرقِ إلَى الغَربِ، وَعَرضِ عَشْرَةِ آلافِ ذِراعٍ مِنَ الشَّمالِ إلَى الجَنُوبِ.

And answering to the border of the priests, the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: the whole length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.

14 ل ا يُسمَحَ بِبَيعِ أيِّ شَيءٍ مِنْ هَذِهِ الأراضِي أوْ مُبادَلَتِها، لأنَّها مُقَدَّسَةٌ للهِ.

And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the first-fruits of the land: for it is holy unto Jehovah.

15 أ مّا المَساحَةُ الباقِيَةُ – خَمسَةُ آلافِ ذِراعٍ عَرضاً، وَخَمسَةٌ وَعِشرُونَ ألفَ ذِراعٍ طُولاً – فَسَتَكُونُ لِلِاستِخدامِ العامِّ. سَتَكُونُ مِنطَقَةَ سَكَنٍ، فِيها مَراعٍ لِلحَيَواناتِ، وَفِي وَسَطِها مَدِينَةٌ.

And the five thousand that are left in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a common for the city, for dwellings and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst of it.

16 و َهَذِهِ أبعادُ المَدِينَةِ: أربَعَةُ آلافٍ وَخَمسُ مِئَةِ ذِراعٍ مِنَ الشَّمالِ، أربَعَةُ آلافٍ وَخَمسُ مِئَةِ ذِراعٍ مِنَ الجَنُوبِ، أربَعَةُ آلافٍ وَخَمسُ مِئَةِ ذِراعٍ مِنَ الشَّرْقِ، أربَعَةُ آلافٍ وَخَمسُ مِئَةِ ذِراعٍ مِنَ الغَرْبِ.

And these shall be the measures thereof: the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.

17 و َأمّا المَرعَى الَّذِي حَولَ المَدِينَةِ، فَسَيَكُونُ بِعَرضِ مِئَتَينِ وَخَمْسِينَ ذِراعاً مِنَ الأربَعِ جِهاتٍ.

And the suburbs of the city shall be toward the north two hundred and fifty, and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty.

18 أ مّا الجُزءُ الباقِي مِنَ المِنطَقَةِ المُكَرَّسَةِ للهِ، عَلَى جانِبَيِّ المَدِينَةِ، بِطُولِ عَشْرَةِ آلافِ ذِراعٍ إلَى الشَّرقِ وَعَشْرَةِ آلافِ ذِراعٍ إلَى الغَربِ مِنَ المَدِينَةِ، فَسَتَكُونُ مُخَصَّصَةً لِتَزوِيدِ العامِلِينَ بِالمَدِينَةِ بِالطَعامِ.

And the residue in length, alongside the holy heave-offering, shall be ten thousand eastward and ten thousand westward: it shall be alongside the holy heave-offering; and the increase thereof shall be for the support of them that serve the city.

19 و َسَيَكُونُ العامِلُونَ فِي المَدِينَةِ مِنْ كُلِّ قَبائِلِ إسْرائِيلَ، فَيَأتُونَ إلَيها وَيَعْمَلُونَ فِيها.

And they that serve the city shall serve it out of all the tribes of Israel.

20 س َتَكُونُ المِنطَقَةُ المُقَدَّسَةُ مُرَبَّعَةَ الأبعادِ، بِطُولِ خَمسَةٍ وَعِشرِينَ ألفَ ذِراعٍ، وَعَرضِ خَمسَةٍ وَعِشرِينَ ألفَ ذِراعٍ. وَتَكُونُ هَذِهِ المِنطَقَةُ مَعَ المَدِينَةِ مِنطَقَةٌ مُقَدَّسَةٌ.

The whole heave-offering shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand; ye shall offer the holy heave-offering foursquare with the possession of the city.

21 أ مّا المِنطَقَتانِ الباقِيَتانِ عَلَى جانِبَيِّ المِنطَقَةِ المُقَدَّسَةِ وَالمَدِينَةِ. إحداهُما عَلَى امتِدادِ خَمْسَةٍ وَعِشرِينَ ألفَ ذِراعٍ مِنَ المِنطَقَةِ المُقَدَّسَةِ نَحْوَ الشَّرقِ، وَالأُخرَى عَلَى امتِدادِ خَمْسَةٍ وَعِشرِينَ ألفَ ذِراعٍ نَحْوَ الغَربِ، بِمُوازاةِ حِصَصِ قَبائِلِ إسْرائِيلَ. فتَكُونُ هاتانِ لِلرَّئِيسِ. وَتَكُونُ المِنطَقَةُ المُقَدَّسَةُ وَالهَيكَلُ بَينَهُما فِي الوَسَطِ.

And the rest shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy heave-offering and of the possession of the city, in front of the five and twenty thousand of the heave-offering toward the east border, and westward in front of the five and twenty thousand toward the west border, answering to the portions: it shall be for the prince; and the holy heave-offering and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst of it.

22 ف َسَيَكُونُ مُلْكُ اللّاوِيِّينَ وَالكَهَنَةِ وَالمَدِينَةِ وَسَطَ أملاكِ الرَّئِيسِ إلَى الشَّرقِ وَالغَربِ، بِحَيثُ تَكُونُ حِصَّةُ قَبِيلَةِ يَهُوذا فِي الشَّمالِ وَحِصَّةُ قَبِيلَةِ بَنْيامِيْنَ فِي الجَنُوبِ. تَقسِيمُ الجُزءِ الجَنُوبِي مِنَ الأرْض

And from the possession of the Levites and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which shall be the prince's, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince.

23 و َبَقِيَّةُ حِصَصِ قَبائِلِ إسْرائِيلَ كَما يَلِي: مِنَ الحُدُودِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ إلَى الحُدُودِ الغَربِيَّةِ حِصَّةُ بَنْيامِيْنَ.

And as for the rest of the tribes: from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin one.

24 و َإلَى الجَنُوبِ مِنْ بَنْيامِيْنَ، مِنَ الحُدُودِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ إلَى الحُدُودِ الغَربِيَّةِ حِصنُ شِمْعُونَ،

And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, Simeon one.

25 و َإلَى الجَنُوبِ مِنْ شِمْعُونَ، مِنَ الحُدُودِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ إلَى الحُدُودِ الغَربِيَّةِ حِصَّةُ يَسّاكَرَ،

And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar one.

26 و َإلَى الجَنُوبِ مِنْ يَسّاكَرَ، مِنَ الحُدُودِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ إلَى الحُدُودِ الغَربِيَّةِ حِصَّةُ زَبُولُونَ،

And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun one.

27 و َإلَى الجَنُوبِ مِنْ زَبُولُونَ، مِنَ الحُدُودِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ إلَى الحُدُودِ الغَربِيَّةِ حِصَّةُ جادَ.

And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad one.

28 و َحِصَّةُ جادَ هِيَ الحُدُودُ الجَنُوبِيَّةُ مِنْ ثامارَ عِندَ مِياهِ مرِيبُوثَ قادَشَ فِي الشَّرقِ وَإلَى نَهرِ مِصرَ وَالبَحرِ المُتَوَسِّطِ فِي الغَرب.

And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be from Tamar the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, by the torrent, unto the great sea.

29 ه َذِهِ هِيَ الأرْضُ الَّتِي تُقَسَّمُ وَتُعطَى لِعَشائِرِ إسْرائِيلَ بِحَسَبِ حِصَصِهِمْ.» يَقُولُ الرّبُّ الإلَهُ.

This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord Jehovah.

30 و َهَذا وَصفٌ لِبَوّاباتِ المَدِينَةِ. طُولُ سُورِ المَدِينَةِ مِنْ جِهَةِ الشَّمالِ أربَعَةُ آلافٍ وَخَمسُ مِئَةِ ذِراعٍ،

And these are the goings out of the city. On the north side, four thousand and five hundred by measure.

31 و َتُسَمَّى بَوّاباتُ المَدِينَةِ بِأسماءِ قَبائِلِ إسْرائِيلَ. وَبَوّاباتُ الجِهَةِ الشَّمالِيَّةِ هِيَ رَأُوبَيْنَ وَيَهُوذا وَلاوِي.

And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one.

32 و َطُولُ سُورِ المَدِينَةِ مِنْ جِهَةِ الشَّرقِ أربَعَةُ آلافٍ وَخَمسُ مِئَةِ ذِراعٍ، وَبَوّاباتُ الجِهَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ هِيَ يُوسُفُ وَبَنْيامِيْنُ وَدانُ.

And at the east side four thousand and five hundred, and three gates: the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one.

33 و َطُولُ سُورِ المَدِينَةِ مِنْ جِهَةِ الجَنُوبِ أربَعَةُ آلافٍ وَخَمسُ مِئَةِ ذِراعٍ، وَبَوّاباتُ الجِهَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ هِيَ شِمْعُونُ وَيَسّاكِرُ وَزَبُولُونُ.

And at the south side four thousand and five hundred by measure, and three gates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one.

34 و َطُولُ سُورِ المَدِينَةِ مِنْ جِهَةِ الغَربِ أربَعَةُ آلافٍ وَخَمسُ مِئَةِ ذِراعٍ، وَبَوّاباتُ الجِهَةِ الغَربِيَّةِ هِيَ جادُ وَأشيِرُ وَنَفتالِي،

At the west side four thousand and five hundred, their three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one.

35 و َمُحِيطُ المَدِينَةِ ثَمانِيَةَ عَشَرَ ألفِ ذِراعٍ. وَمِن ذَلِكَ الوَقتِ فَصاعِداً، سَيَكُونُ اسْمُ المَدِينَةِ « اللهُ هُناكَ.»

Round about it was eighteen thousand; and the name of the city from that day, Jehovah is there.
