1 “ No man who has his sex part crushed or cut off will go into the meeting of the Lord.
«لا يَجُوزُ لِرَجُلٍ مَسْحُوقِ الخِصيَتَينِ أوْ مَقطُوعِ العُضوِ أنْ يُحْسَبَ مِنْ شَعبِ اللهِ.
2 N o one who was born to parents who were not married will go into the meeting of the Lord. And none of his children will go into the meeting of the Lord, even to the children’s children of ten families in the future.
وَلا يَجُوزُ لابْنِ الزِّنا أنْ يُحْسَبَ مِنْ شَعبِ اللهِ. لا يُحسَبُ مِنْ جَماعَةِ اللهِ هُوَ وَلا نَسلُهُ حَتَّى الجِيلِ العاشِرِ.
3 N o Ammonite or Moabite will go into the meeting of the Lord. None of their children will go into the meeting of the Lord, even to the children’s children of ten families of the future,
«لا يُمكِنُ لِعَمُّونِيٍّ أوْ مُوَآبِيٍّ وَلا لِأحَدٍ مِنْ نَسلِهِمْ، حَتَّى الجِيلِ العاشِرِ، أنْ يُحسَبُوا مِنْ جَماعَةِ اللهِ إلَى الأبَدِ.
4 b ecause they did not meet you with food and water on your way from Egypt, and they paid Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia to curse you.
فَهُمْ لَمْ يَأتُوا لِيُلاقُوكُمْ بِالطَّعامِ وَالماءِ فِي الطَّرِيقِ حِينَ خَرَجتُمْ مِنْ مِصْرَ. وَقَدِ استَأجَرُوا ضِدَّكُمْ بَلعامَ بنَ بَعُورَ، الَّذِي مَنْ مَدِينَةِ فَتُورَ فِي بِلادِ ما بَينَ النَّهرَينِ، لِكَي يَلعَنَكُمْ.
5 B ut the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam. Instead He changed the curse into good for you, because the Lord your God loves you.
لَكِنَّ إلَهَكُمْ رَفَضَ الاستِماعَ إلَى بَلعامَ، وَحَوَّلَ إلَهُكُمْ اللَّعنَةَ إلَى بَرَكَةٍ لَكُمْ، لِأنَّ إلَهَكُمْ يُحِبُّكُمْ.
6 D o nothing for their peace or their well-being all your days.
فَلا تَطلُبُوا سَلامَهُمْ أوْ خَيرَهُمْ طَوالَ حَياتِكُمْ. الأدُومِيُّون
7 “ Do not hate an Edomite, for he is your brother. Do not hate an Egyptian. For you were a stranger in his land.
«لا تَكرَهُوا أدُومِيّاً لِأنَّهُ أخُوكُمْ. وَلا تَكرَهُوا مِصرِيّاً لِأنَّكُمْ كَنتُمْ غُرَباءَ فِي بَلَدِهِ.
8 T heir great-grandchildren may go into the meeting of the Lord. The Camp Is to Be Clean
وَالَّذينَ يُولَدُونَ مِنْ نَسلِهِمْ فِي الجَيلِ الثّالِثِ، يُمكِنُهُمْ أنْ يَنْضَمُّوا إلَى جَماعَةِ اللهِ. الحِفاظُ عَلَى طَهارَةِ المُعَسكَر
9 “ When you go as an army against those who hate you, keep yourself away from every sinful thing.
«وَحِينَ تَخرُجُونَ فِي جَيشٍ ضِدَّ أعدائِكُمْ تَجَنَّبُوا أيَّ شَيءٍ نَجِسٍ.
10 I f there is any man among you who is unclean because he had a flow from his body during the night, he must go away from the tents. He must not come among the tents.
إنْ وُجِدَ فِي وَسَطِكُمْ رَجُلٌ غَيرُ طاهِرٍ بِسَبَبِ احْتِلامٍ لَيلِيٍّ، فَليَخرُجْ مِنَ المُعَسكَرِ وَلا يَدخُلْهُ.
11 W hen evening comes he must wash his body with water. And when the sun goes down he may return to the tents.
وَعِنْدَما يَأتِي المَساءُ، يَستَحِمُّ بِالماءِ. وَحِينَ تَغِيبُ الشَّمسُ يَدخُلُ المُعَسكَرَ.
12 “ You should have a place to go away from the tents.
«وَيَكونُ لَكُمْ أيضاً مَكانٌ خارِجَ المُعَسكَرِ لِقَضاءِ الحاجَةِ.
13 Y ou should have a tool there to dig with. Use it to dig a hole when you sit down outside. Then use it to cover the waste from your body.
فَيَكُونُ لِكُلِّ واحِدٍ مِنكُمْ عَصاً وَعُدَّةٌ لِيَحْفِرَ ثُمَّ يُغَطِّي فَضَلاتِهِ بَعدَ أنْ يَقْضِي حاجَتَهُ.
14 B ecause the Lord your God walks among your tents to set you free and make you win the battle against those who hate you, the place where your tents are must be holy. He must not see anything among you that is unclean and turn away from you. Different Laws
لأنَّ إلَهَكَمْ يَجُولُ فِي وَسَطِ مُعَسكَرِكُمْ لِيُنقِذَكُمْ وَيُساعِدَكُمْ لِتَهزِمُوا أعداءَكُمْ. فَيَنبَغِي أنْ يَكُونَ المُعَسكَرُ مَقَدَّساً كَي لا يَرَى شَيئاً غَيرَ لائِقٍ بَينَكُمْ فَيَترُكَكُمْ. شَرائِعُ مُتَفَرِّقَة
15 “ If a servant runs away from his owner and comes to you, do not return him to his owner.
«لا تُرْجِعُوا عَبْداً هارِباً إلَى سَيِّدِهِ،
16 L et him stay with you, in the place he chooses in one of your towns, where it pleases him. Do not make it hard for him.
بَلِ اسْمَحُوا لَهُ بِأنْ يَسْكُنَ فِي وَسَطِكُمْ، فِي المَكانِ الَّذِي يَختارُهُ فِي أيَّةِ مَدينَةٍ حَيثُ يُرِيدُ، فَلا تُزعِجُوهُ.
17 “ No daughter of Israel is to sell the use of her body in worship to a strange god. And no son of Israel is to sell the use of his body for a strange god.
«لا يَجُوزُ لِامْرَأةٍ مِنْ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ أِنْ تَعْمَلَ عاهِرَةً فِي مَعْبَدٍ. «لا يَجُوزُ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ أنْ يُعاشِرَ الرِّجالَ فِي مَعْبَدٍ.
18 Y ou must not bring the pay of a woman who sells the use of her body or of a man who does sex sins into the house of the Lord your God for any promised gift. For the Lord your God hates both of these.
لا تُدخِلُوا أجْرَ عاهِرَةٍ أوْ شاذٍّ إلَى بَيتِ إلَهِكُمْ لِتَدفَعُوا عَنْ نَذْرٍ تَعَهَدْتُمْ بِهِ، لِأنَّ هَذا مَمقُوتٌ عِنْدَ إلَهِكُمْ.
19 D o not make your brothers pay you for the use of money, food, or anything you might give them to use.
«لا تَفرِضُوا الرِّبا عَلَى أحَدٍ مِنْ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ يَقْتَرِضُ مِنْكُمْ مالاً أوْ طَعاماً أوْ أيَّ شَيءٍ آخَرَ.
20 Y ou may make a stranger pay you for the use of money, but not your brother. So the Lord your God may bring good to you in all you do in the land you are going into to have for your own.
يُمكِنُ أنْ تأخُذُوا فائِدَةً مِنَ الغَرِيبِ، لا مِنْ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ. كَي يُبارِكَكُمْ إلَهُكُمْ فِي كُلِّ شَيءٍ تَعمَلُونَهُ فِي الأرْضِ الَّتِي سَتَدخُلُونَ لِتَمتَلِكُوها.
21 “ When you make a promise to the Lord your God, do not be slow to pay it. It would be sin in you, for the Lord your God will be sure to ask you for it.
«إذا نَذَرْتُمْ نَذْراً لإلَهِكُمْ ، فَلا تَتَأخَّرُوا عَنِ الوَفاءِ بِهِ، لِأنَّ إلَهَكُمْ سَيُطالِبُكُمْ بِهِ وَسَتَكُونُونَ مُذنِبِينَ إنْ تَأخَّرتُمْ فِي الوَفاءِ بِهِ.
22 B ut if you do not make a promise, it would not be sin in you.
لَكِنْ إنْ لَمْ تَنذِرُوا لا تَكُونُونَ مُذنِبِينَ.
23 B e careful to do what you say you are going to do. Keep the promise you have made to the Lord your God because you want to.
احرِصُوا عَلَى عَمَلِ ما تَقُولُونَ بِأنَّكُمْ سَتَعمَلُونَهُ. أوفُوا النُّذُورَ الَّتِي نَذَرْتُمُوها طَوعاً لإلَهِكُمْ.
24 “ When you go into your neighbor’s grape-field, you may eat grapes until you are full. But do not put any in your basket.
«إنْ دَخَلَ أحَدُكُمْ كَرمَ شَخصٍ آخَرَ، يُمكِنُهُ أنْ يَأكُلَ قَدْرَ ما يُرِيدُ مِنَ العِنَبِ إلَى الشَّبَعِ. وَلَكِنْ لا يَجُوزُ لَهُ أنْ يَضَعَ مَنهُ فِي كِيسٍ.
25 W hen you go into your neighbor’s grain field, you may pick the heads with your hand. But do not cut down any of your neighbor’s standing grain.
إنْ عَبَرَ أحَدُكُمْ فِي حَقلِ قَمحٍ لِشَخصٍ آخَرَ، يُمكِنُهُ أنْ يَقطِفَ مِنْ سَنابِلِهِ وَيَأكُلَ. وَلَكِنْ لا يَجُوزُ أنْ يَستَخدِمَ المِنجَلَ عَلَى قَمحِ شَخصٍ آخَرَ لِيَحْمِلَ مَعَهُ.
