1 T hese were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron. The first-born was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam of Jezreel. The second was Daniel, the son of Abigail of Carmel.

وَهَؤُلاءِ هُمْ أبْناءُ داوُدَ الَّذِينَ وُلِدُوا لَهُ فِي حَبْرُون: أمْنُونُ البِكْرُ، الَّذِي وَلَدَتْهُ أخِينُوعَمُ اليَزْرِعِيلِيَّةُ، وَالثّانِي دانِيئِيلُ، الَّذِي وَلَدَتْهُ أبِيجايِلُ الكَرْمِلِيَّةُ،

2 T he third was Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of King Talmai of Geshur. The fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith.

وَالثّالِثُ أبْشالُومُ، الَّذِي وَلَدَتْهُ مَعْكَةُ بِنتُ تِلْمايَ مَلِكِ جَشُورَ، وَالرّابِعُ أدُونِيّا، الَّذِي وَلَدَتْهُ حَجِّيثُ،

3 T he fifth was Shephatiah the son of Abital. And the sixth was Ithream, by David’s wife Eglah.

وَالخامِسُ شَفَطْيا، الَّذِي وَلَدَتْهُ أبِيطالُ، وَالسّادِسُ يَثَرْعامُ الَّذِي وَلَدَتْهُ عَجلَةُ.

4 S ix sons were born to David in Hebron. He ruled there for seven years and six months. And he ruled in Jerusalem for thirty-three years.

وَقَدْ وُلِدَ لَهُ سِتَّةُ أولادٍ فِي حَبْرُونَ، حَيثُ حَكَمَ مَلِكاً سِتَّ سَنَواتٍ وَسِتَّةَ أشْهُرٍ. ثُمَّ حَكَمَ ثَلاثاً وَثَلاثِينَ سَنَةً فِي القُدْسِ.

5 T hese are the sons who were born to him in Jerusalem: Bathsheba the daughter of Ammiel gave birth to David’s four sons, Shimea, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon.

وَفِي القُدْسِ وُلِدَ لَهُ شِمْعَى وَشُوبابُ وَناثانُ وَسُلَيْمانُ. وُلِدَ هَؤُلاءِ الأربَعَةُ مِنْ بَثْشَبَعَ بِنتِ عَمِّيئِيلَ.

6 A nd there were Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,

وَأيضاً يِبْحارُ وَألِيشامَعُ وَألِيفاطُ

7 N ogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

وَنُوجَهُ وَنافَجُ وَيافِيعُ

8 E lishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine sons.

وَألِيشَمَعُ وَألِياداعُ وَألِيفَلَطُ، وَمَجمُوعُهُمْ تِسْعَةٌ.

9 A ll these were the sons of David, added to the sons of the women who acted as David’s wives. Tamar was their sister. The Family of Solomon

هَؤُلاءِ كُلُّهُمْ أبْناءُ داوُدَ ماعَدا بَنِيهِ الآخَرِينَ مِنَ الجَوارِي، وَكانَتْ لَهُمْ أُختٌ اسْمُها ثامارُ. بَقِيّةُ نَسلِ دَاوُد

10 S olomon’s son was Rehoboam. Abijah was his son. Asa was his son. Jehoshaphat was his son.

وَرَحُبْعامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمانَ. وَابْناؤهُ أبِيّا وَآسا وَيَهُوشافاطُ

11 J oram was his son. Ahaziah was his son. Joash was his son.

وَيُورامُ وَأخَزْيا وَيُوآشُ

12 A maziah was his son. Azariah was his son. Jotham was his son.

وَأمَصْيا وَعَزَرْيا وَيُوثامُ

13 A haz was his son. Hezekiah was his son. Manasseh was his son.

وَآحازُ وَحَزَقِيّا وَمَنَسَّى

14 A mon was his son. And Josiah was his son.

وَآمُونُ وَيُوشِيّا.

15 T he sons of Josiah were Johanan the first-born, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum the fourth.

أبْناءُ يُوشِيّا هُمُ البِكْرُ يُوحانانُ، وَالثّانِي يَهُوياقِيمُ، وَالثّالِثُ صِدْقِيّا، وَالرّابِعُ شَلُّومُ.

16 T he sons of Jehoiakim were Jeconiah and Zedekiah. The Family of Jeconiah

وَابْنا يَهُوياقِيمَ: يَكُنْيا وَصِدْقِيّا. النَّسلُ المَلَكِيُّ بَعْدَ السَّبْي

17 J econiah was taken away to prison by the Babylonians. His sons were Shealtiel,

أبْناءُ يَكُنْيا المَسْبِيِّ هُمْ شَألْتِئِيلُ

18 M alchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

وَمَلْكِيرامُ وَفَدايا وَشِنْأصَّرُ وَيَقَمْيا وَهُوشاماعُ وَنَدَبْيا.

19 P edaiah’s sons were Zerubbabel and Shimei. And the sons of Zerubbabel were Meshullam and Hananiah. Shelomith was their sister.

وَابْنا فَدايا هُما زَرُبّابِلُ وَشَمْعَى. وَابْنا زَرُبّابِلَ هُمْ مَشُلّامُ وَحَنَنْيا وَشَلُومِيَةُ أخْتُهُما.

20 F ive other sons of Zerubbabel were Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.

وَخَمْسَةٌ آخَرُونَ هُمْ حَشُوبَةُ وَأُوهَلُ وَبَرَخْيا وَحَسَدْيا وَيُوشَبُ حَسَدُ.

21 T he sons of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, whose son was Rephaiah. His son was Arnan. His son was Obadiah. And his son was Shecaniah.

وَلِحَنَنْيا ابنُهُ فَلَطْيا، وَابنُهُ يِشْعِيا، وَابنُهُ رفايا، وَابنُهُ أُرْنانُ، وَابنُهُ عُوبَدْيا، وَابنُهُ شَكَنْيا.

22 S hecaniah’s son was Shemaiah, whose sons were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat, six sons.

فَابنُ شَكَنْيا هُوَ شِمْعِيا، وَأبْناءُ شِمْعِيا هُمْ حَطُّوشُ وَيَجْآلُ وَبارِيحُ وَنَعَرْيا وَشافاطُ، وَمَجمُوعُهُمْ سِتَّةٌ.

23 T he three sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hizkiah and Azrikam.

وَأبْناءُ نَعَرْيا هُمْ ألْيُوعِينِيُّ وَحَزَقِيّا وَعَزْرِيقامُ، وَمَجمُوعُهُمْ ثَلاثَةٌ.

24 A nd the seven sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.

وَأبْناءُ ألْيُوعِينِيَّ هُمْ هُوداياهُو وَألْياشِيبُ وَفَلايا وَعَقُّوبُ وَيُوحانانُ وَدَلايا وَعَنانِي، وَمَجمُوعُهُمْ سَبْعَةٌ.
