1 T he king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

El rey se alegra en tu poder, oh Jehová; Y en tu salvación,!! cómo se goza!

2 T hou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

Le has concedido el deseo de su corazón, Y no le negaste la petición de sus labios. Selah

3 F or thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

Porque le has salido al encuentro con bendiciones de bien; Corona de oro fino has puesto sobre su cabeza.

4 H e asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

Vida te demandó, y se la diste; Largura de días eternamente y para siempre.

5 H is glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

Grande es su gloria en tu salvación; Honra y majestad has puesto sobre él.

6 F or thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

Porque lo has bendecido para siempre; Lo llenaste de alegría con tu presencia.

7 F or the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

Por cuanto el rey confía en Jehová, Y en la misericordia del Altísimo, no será conmovido.

8 T hine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

Alcanzará tu mano a todos tus enemigos; Tu diestra alcanzará a los que te aborrecen.

9 T hou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the Lord shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

Los pondrás como horno de fuego en el tiempo de tu ira; Jehová los deshará en su ira, Y fuego los consumirá.

10 T heir fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

Su fruto destruirás de la tierra, Y su descendencia de entre los hijos de los hombres.

11 F or they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

Porque intentaron el mal contra ti; Fraguaron maquinaciones, mas no prevalecerán,

12 T herefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.

Pues tú los pondrás en fuga; En tus cuerdas dispondrás saetas contra sus rostros.

13 B e thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

Engrandécete, oh Jehová, en tu poder; Cantaremos y alabaremos tu poderío.
