1 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

2 F or the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

(47-3) грізний бо Всевишній Господь, Цар великий всієї землі!

3 H e shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

(47-4) Він народи під нас підбиває, а поган нам під ноги,

4 H e shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

(47-5) Він нашу спадщину для нас вибирає, величність для Якова, що його полюбив. Села.

5 G od is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

(47-6) Бог виступає при радісних окриках, Господь при голосі рога.

6 S ing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

(47-7) Співайте Богові нашому, співайте, співайте Цареві нашому, співайте,

7 F or God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

(47-8) бо Бог Цар усієї землі, співайте навчальний псалом!

8 G od reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

(47-9) Бог зацарював над народами, Бог сів на святому Своєму престолі!

9 T he princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.

(47-10) Зібрались владики народів, народ Бога Авраамового, як Божі щити на землі, між ними Він сильно звеличений!
