1 L et God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

Для дириґетна хору. Псалом Давидів. Пісня. (68-2) Нехай воскресне Бог, і розпорошаться вороги Його, і нехай від лиця Його повтікають Його ненависники!

2 A s smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

(68-3) Як дим розвівається, так їх розвій, як топиться віск від огню, отак несправедливі загинуть перед Божим лицем!

3 B ut let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

(68-4) А праведні будуть радіти, і будуть тішитися перед Богом, і веселитися в радості будуть!

4 S ing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

(68-5) Співайте Богові, виспівуйте Йменню Його, рівняйте дорогу Тому, Хто їде на хмарах, Господь Йому Ймення, та перед Ним веселіться!

5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

(68-6) Сиротам батько й вдовицям суддя, то Бог у святому мешканні Своїм!

6 G od setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

(68-7) Бог самітних уводить до дому, витягує в'язнів з кайданів, тільки відступники мешкати будуть у спаленій сонцем землі!

7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:

(68-8) Боже, коли перед народом Своїм Ти виходив, коли йшов Ти пустинею, Села,

8 t he earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

(68-9) то тряслася земля, також капало небо було перед Богом, Сінай затремтів перед Богом, Богом ізраїля!

9 T hou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

(68-10) Дощ добродійний спускаєш Ти краплями, Боже, на спадок Свій перемучений міцно поставив його.

10 T hy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

(68-11) У ньому сиділо Твоє многолюддя, у Своїй доброті все готуєш Ти бідному, Боже!

11 T he Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

(68-12) Господь дає слово; провісниць велика многота:

12 K ings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.

(68-13) Царі військ утікають, утікають, пані ж дому розділює здобич.

13 T hough ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.

(68-14) Коли ви спочиваєте між обійстями то крила голубки покриті сріблом, а пера її зеленкавістю золота.

14 W hen the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

(68-15) Коли Всемогутній царів розпорошував в Краї, то сніг Ти спускав на Цалмоні.

15 T he hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.

(68-16) Гора Божа Башанська гора, гора верхогір'я гора та Башанська.

16 W hy leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the Lord will dwell in it for ever.

(68-17) Верхогір'я, чого заздрісно дивитеся на ту гору, що Бог зажадав на мешкання Своє, і Господь буде мешкати там завжди?

17 T he chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

(68-18) Колесниць Божих дві десятьтисячки, тисячі багатократні, Господь із Сінаю прибув до святині.

18 T hou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

(68-19) Ти піднявся був на висоту, полонених набрав, узяв дари ради людини, і відступники мешкати будуть у Господа Бога також.

19 B lessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

(68-20) Благословенний Господь, тягарі Він щоденно нам носить, Бог наше спасіння! Села.

20 H e that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.

(68-21) Бог для нас Бог спасіння, і в Господа Владики виходи смерти!

21 B ut God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

(68-22) Але розторощить Бог голову Своїх ворогів, маківку, вкриту волоссям, того, хто в гріхах своїх ходить!

22 T he Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

(68-23) Промовив Господь: Я спроваджу з Башану тебе, з глибин моря спроваджу,

23 t hat thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

(68-24) щоб ти ногу свою мив у крові, щоб язик твоїх псів мав частину свою в ворогів!

24 T hey have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

(68-25) Походи Твої, Боже, бачено, походи Бога мого у святині мого Царя:

25 T he singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

(68-26) Попереду йшли співаки, потому грачі, посеред дівчат, що бряжчали на бубнах:

26 B less ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.

(68-27) Благословляйте на зборах Бога, Господа, ви, хто від джерел ізраїля!

27 T here is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

(68-28) Там Веніямин молодий, їхній володар, князі Юди, їхні полки, князі Завулона, князі Нефталима.

28 T hy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

(68-29) Твій Бог наказав тобі силу, будь силою, Боже, того, кого нам учинив!

29 B ecause of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

(68-30) із храму Твого на Єрусалимі царі привезуть Тобі дара.

30 R ebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

(68-31) Погрози звірині в очереті, череді волів разом з телятами людськими, понищ тих, хто кавалками срібла милується, розпорош ті народи, що воєн бажають!

31 P rinces shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

(68-32) Прийдуть з Єгипту посли, і руки свої Куш простягне до Бога.

32 S ing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:

(68-33) Царства землі, співайте Богові, виспівуйте Господа, Села,

33 t o him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

(68-34) що їздить в відвічному небі небес. Ось Він загримить Своїм голосом, голосом сильним.

34 A scribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

(68-35) Визнайте Богові силу, величність Його над ізраїлем, а в хмарах потуга Його!

35 O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.

(68-36) Бог грізний у святинях Своїх, Бог ізраїлів Він, що народові дає силу й міць, Бог благословенний!
