1 T he Lord said to Moses,

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

2 Take Aaron and his sons, and the clothing, the oil for holy use, the bull for the sin gift, the two rams and the basket of bread without yeast.

Take Aaron and his sons with him and the garments and the anointing oil and the bullock for the sin and the two rams and the basket of unleavened bread

3 A nd gather together all the people at the door of the meeting tent.”

and gather all the congregation together at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

4 S o Moses did just as the Lord told him. The people were gathered together at the door of the meeting tent.

And Moses did as the LORD commanded him, and the congregation was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

5 M oses said to the people, “This is what the Lord has said to do.”

And Moses said unto the congregation, This is what the LORD has commanded to be done.

6 M oses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.

7 H e dressed him with the coat, the belt, the long piece of clothing, and the linen vest. He tied the well-made rope of the linen vest, to keep his clothing in place.

And he put upon him the coat and girded him with the girdle and then clothed him with the robe and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the special girdle of the ephod and bound it unto him therewith.

8 T hen he put the breast-piece on him. And he put the Urim and the Thummim into the breast-piece.

Then he put the pectoral upon him, and he put in the pectoral the Urim and the Thummim.

9 H e put the head covering on his head. And on the front of it he put the gold plate, the holy crown, just as the Lord had told Moses.

After that he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, he put the open flower of gold, the crown of holiness, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

10 T hen Moses took the oil for holy use and poured it on the meeting tent and all that was in it, and made them holy.

And Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and all the things that were therein and sanctified them.

11 H e put some of it on the altar seven times. He poured this oil on the altar and all its objects, and the washing pot and its base, to make them holy.

And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the laver and its base, to sanctify them.

12 A nd he poured some of the oil for holy use on Aaron’s head, to make him holy.

And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron’s head and anointed him, to sanctify him.

13 T hen Moses had Aaron’s sons come near and dressed them with coats, belts and head coverings, just as the Lord had told Moses.

Then Moses brought Aaron’s sons and put coats upon them and girded them with girdles and put tiaras upon them, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

14 M oses brought the bull of the sin gift. And Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin gift.

¶ Next he brought the bullock of the sin, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock of the sin,

15 T hen Moses killed it. He took some of the blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar with his finger, to make the altar clean. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar to make it holy.

and he slew it; and Moses took the blood and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger and removed the sin from the altar and poured the remaining blood at the bottom of the altar and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.

16 H e took all the fat that was on the inside parts, and the part that was on the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat. And Moses burned them on the altar.

After that he took all the fat that was upon the intestines and the caul above the liver and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses incensed it upon the altar.

17 B ut the bull and its skin, its meat and its waste, he burned in the fire away from the tents, just as the Lord had told Moses.

But the bullock and its hide, its flesh, and its dung, he burnt with fire outside the camp, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

18 M oses brought the ram of the burnt gift. And Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the sheep.

After that, he brought the ram of the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram,

19 T hen Moses killed it and put the blood around on the altar.

and he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

20 H e cut the ram into pieces. And Moses burned the head, the pieces, and the fat.

And he cut the ram into pieces, and Moses incensed the head and the pieces and the fat.

21 A fter he had washed the inside parts and the legs with water, Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt gift for a pleasing smell. It was a gift by fire to the Lord, just as the Lord had told Moses.

Then he washed the intestines and the legs in water, and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar; it was a burnt sacrifice in a very acceptable aroma, an offering on fire unto the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

22 T hen Moses brought the ram, the ram for setting them apart. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.

After that, he brought the other ram, the ram of the consecrations, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram,

23 A nd Moses killed it, took some of its blood, and put it on the bottom of Aaron’s right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the big toe of his right foot.

and he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it and put it upon the tip of Aaron’s right ear and upon the thumb of his right hand and upon the great toe of his right foot.

24 T hen he had Aaron’s sons come near. Moses put some of the blood on the bottom of their right ear, the thumb of their right hand, and the big toe of their right foot. Then Moses put the rest of the blood around on the altar.

And he brought Aaron’s sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ears and upon the thumbs of their right hands and upon the great toes of their right feet; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about;

25 H e took the fat, the fat tail, all the fat that was on the inside parts, the part that is on the liver, the two kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh.

and after that, he took the fat and the tail, and all the fat that was upon the intestines and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat and the right shoulder;

26 F rom the basket of bread made without yeast that was before the Lord, he took one loaf without yeast, and one loaf of bread mixed with oil, and one piece of hard bread. And he put them on the fat parts and the right thigh.

and out of the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD he took one unleavened cake and a cake of oiled bread and one wafer and put them with the fat and with the right shoulder;

27 H e put all these on the hands of Aaron and his sons, and waved them for a wave gift before the Lord.

and he put all of it in Aaron’s hands and in his sons’ hands and caused them to be waved for a wave offering before the LORD.

28 T hen Moses took these things from their hands and burned them on the altar with the burnt gift. It was a gift to set them apart. It was a pleasing smell, a gift by fire to the Lord.

After that Moses took them from their hands and incensed them on the altar upon the burnt offering; they are the consecrations in a very acceptable aroma, an offering on fire unto the LORD.

29 M oses took the breast of the ram also. He gave it as a wave gift before the Lord. It was Moses’ part of the ram for setting Aaron and his sons apart, just as the Lord had told Moses.

And Moses took the breast and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD; for of the ram of the consecrations this was Moses’ part, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

30 M oses took some of the oil for holy use and some of the blood that was on the altar. He put it on Aaron and his clothing, and on his sons and their clothing. So Aaron and his clothing and his sons and their clothing were set apart.

Then Moses took of the anointing oil and of the blood which was upon the altar and sprinkled it upon Aaron and upon his garments and upon his sons and upon his sons’ garments with him and sanctified Aaron and his garments, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him.

31 T hen Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the meat at the door of the meeting tent. And eat it there with the bread which is in the basket that was set apart as an offering. Just as I said, ‘Aaron and his sons will eat it.’

¶ And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Cook the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of the consecrations, as I have commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.

32 B urn in the fire what is left of the flesh and the bread.

And that which remains of the flesh and of the bread ye shall burn with fire.

33 D o not go outside the door of the meeting tent for seven days, until the time is over for you to be set apart. For it will take seven days to set you apart.

And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the testimony in seven days, until the day that the days of your consecration are fulfilled; because for seven days ye shall be consecrated.

34 T he Lord has told us to do what has been done today, to take away your sins.

As has been done this day, so the LORD has commanded to do, to reconcile you.

35 S tay day and night at the door of the meeting tent for seven days. Do what the Lord has told you to do, so you will not die. For this is what I have been told.”

Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony day and night for seven days and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not; for so I am commanded.

36 S o Aaron and his sons did all that the Lord had told them to do by Moses.

So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
