1 P raise the Lord! Praise God in His holy place! Praise Him in the heavens of His power!

¶ Halelu-JAH. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power.

2 P raise Him for His great works! Praise Him for all His greatness!

Praise him for his mighty acts; praise him according to his excellent greatness.

3 P raise Him with the sound of a horn. Praise Him with harps.

Praise him with the sound of the shofar; praise him with the psaltery and harp.

4 P raise Him with timbrels and dancing. Praise Him with strings and horns.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance; praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

5 P raise Him with loud sounds. Praise Him with loud and clear sounds.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals; praise him upon the cymbals of joy.

6 L et everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
