1 A nd Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

Cuando Jesús salió del templo, y mientras iba de camino, se acercaron sus discípulos para mostrarle los edificios del templo.

2 A nd Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Él respondió y les dijo: ¿Veis todo esto? De cierto os digo, que no quedará aquí piedra sobre piedra, que no sea derribada. Señales antes del fin

3 A nd as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Y estando él sentado en el monte de los Olivos, los discípulos se le acercaron aparte, diciendo: Dinos, ¿cuándo sucederán estas cosas, y cuál será la señal de tu venida, y del final de esta época?

4 A nd Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Mirad que nadie os engañe.

5 F or many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo; y engañarán a muchos.

6 A nd ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Oiréis hablar de guerras y de rumores de guerras; mirad que no os alarméis, porque es necesario que todo eso acontezca; pero aún no es el fin.

7 F or nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá hambres, epidemias, y terremotos en diferentes lugares.

8 A ll these are the beginning of sorrows.

Mas todo esto será el principio de dolores.

9 T hen shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

Entonces os entregarán a tribulación, y os matarán, y seréis aborrecidos de todas las gentes por causa de mi nombre.

10 A nd then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Muchos tropezarán entonces, y se entregarán unos a otros, y unos a otros se aborrecerán.

11 A nd many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Y muchos falsos profetas se levantarán, y engañarán a muchos;

12 A nd because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

y debido al aumento de la iniquidad, se enfriará el amor de la mayoría.

13 B ut he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mas el que persevere hasta el fin, éste será salvo.

14 A nd this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Y será predicado este evangelio del reino en todo el mundo, para testimonio a todas las naciones; y entonces vendrá el fin.

15 W hen ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Por tanto, cuando veáis en el lugar santo la abominación de la desolación, anunciada por medio del profeta Daniel (el que lea, entienda),

16 t hen let them which be in Judæa flee into the mountains:

entonces los que estén en Judea, huyan a los montes.

17 l et him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

El que esté en la azotea, no descienda para tomar nada de su casa;

18 n either let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

y el que esté en el campo, no vuelva atrás para tomar su capa.

19 A nd woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

Mas ¡ay de las que en aquellos días estén encintas, y de las que estén criando!

20 B ut pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Orad para que vuestra huida no sea en invierno ni en sábado;

21 f or then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

porque habrá entonces gran tribulación, cual no la ha habido desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, ni la habrá jamás.

22 A nd except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Y si aquellos días no fuesen acortados, no se salvaría nadie; mas por causa de los escogidos, aquellos días serán acortados.

23 T hen if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

Entonces, si alguno os dice: Mirad, aquí está el Cristo, o mirad, allí está, no lo creáis.

24 F or there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos, y falsos profetas, y harán grandes señales y prodigios, hasta el punto de engañar, si fuera posible, aun a los escogidos.

25 B ehold, I have told you before.

Mirad que os lo he predicho.

26 W herefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

Así que si os dicen: Mirad, está en el desierto, no salgáis; o mirad, está en las habitaciones interiores, no lo creáis.

27 F or as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Porque así como el relámpago sale del oriente y brilla hasta el occidente, así será también la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

28 F or wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Dondequiera que esté el cadáver, allí se juntarán las águilas. La venida del Hijo del Hombre

29 I mmediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

E inmediatamente después de la tribulación de aquellos días, el sol se oscurecerá, y la luna no dará su resplandor, y las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las potencias de los cielos serán sacudidas.

30 a nd then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Entonces aparecerá la señal del Hijo del Hombre en el cielo; y entonces harán duelo todas las tribus de la tierra, y verán al Hijo del Hombre viniendo sobre las nubes del cielo, con poder y gran gloria.

31 A nd he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Y enviará sus ángeles con gran voz de trompeta, y reunirán a sus escogidos, de los cuatro vientos, desde un extremo del cielo hasta el otro.

32 N ow learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

De la higuera aprended la parábola: Cuando ya su rama se ha puesto tierna, y brotan las hojas, sabéis que el verano está cerca.

33 s o likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Así también vosotros, cuando veáis todas estas cosas, conoced que él está cerca, a las puertas.

34 V erily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

De cierto os digo, que no pasará esta generación hasta que todo esto acontezca.

35 H eaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

El cielo y la tierra pasarán, pero mis palabras no pasarán.

36 B ut of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Pero de aquel día y de aquella hora nadie sabe, ni aun los ángeles del cielo, sino sólo mi Padre.

37 B ut as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mas como en los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

38 F or as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Porque como en los días antes del diluvio estaban comiendo y bebiendo, casándose y dándose en matrimonio, hasta el día en que Noé entró en el arca,

39 a nd knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

y no se dieron cuenta hasta que vino el diluvio y se los llevó a todos, así será también la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

40 T hen shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Entonces estarán dos en el campo; el uno será tomado, y el otro será dejado.

41 T wo women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Dos mujeres estarán moliendo en un molino; la una será tomada, y la otra será dejada.

42 W atch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Velad, pues, porque no sabéis a qué hora ha de venir vuestro Señor.

43 B ut know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Y comprended aquello de que si el padre de familia supiese a qué hora iba a venir el ladrón, velaría y no dejaría que horadasen su casa.

44 T herefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Por tanto, también vosotros estad preparados; porque el Hijo del Hombre vendrá a la hora que no penséis.

45 W ho then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

¿Quién es, pues, el siervo fiel y prudente, al cual puso su señor al frente de su servidumbre, para que les dé el alimento a su tiempo?

46 B lessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Dichoso aquel siervo, al cual, cuando su señor venga, le halle obrando así.

47 V erily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

De cierto os digo que le pondrá al frente de toda su hacienda.

48 B ut and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

Pero si aquel siervo malo dice en su corazón: Mi señor tarda en venir;

49 a nd shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

y comienza a golpear a sus consiervos, y a comer y a beber con los borrachos,

50 t he lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

vendrá el señor de aquel siervo el día que éste no espera, y a la hora que no sabe,

51 a nd shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

y lo castigará muy duramente, y pondrá su parte con los hipócritas; allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes.
