1 A nd the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

Vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

2 S on of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

Hijo de hombre, vuelve tu rostro hacia Gog en tierra de Magog, príncipe soberano de Mésec y Tubal, y profetiza contra él,

3 a nd say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

y di: Así dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo estoy contra ti, oh Gog, príncipe soberano de Mésec y Tubal.

4 a nd I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

Y te haré dar media vuelta, y pondré garfios en tus quijadas, y te sacaré a ti y a todo tu ejército, caballos y jinetes, todos perfectamente equipados, gran multitud con paveses y escudos, blandiendo todos ellos espada;

5 P ersia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

Persia, Cus y Fut con ellos; todos ellos con escudo y yelmo;

6 G omer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

Gomer, y todas sus tropas; la casa de Togarmá, de los confines del norte, y todas sus tropas; muchos pueblos contigo.

7 B e thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

Prepárate y apercíbete, tú y toda tu multitud que se ha reunido a ti, y sé tú su comandante en jefe.

8 A fter many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

De aquí a muchos días recibirás la orden; al cabo de muchos años vendrás a la tierra salvada de la espada, recogida de muchos pueblos, contra los montes de Israel, que siempre fueron una desolación; mas fue sacada de las naciones, y todos ellos moran confiadamente.

9 T hou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.

Subirás tú, y vendrás como una tempestad; como un nublado para cubrir la tierra serás tú y todas tus tropas, y muchos pueblos contigo.

10 T hus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:

Así dice el Señor Jehová: En aquel día subirán pensamientos a tu corazón y concebirás malvados designios,

11 a nd thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

y dirás: Subiré contra una tierra indefensa, iré contra gentes tranquilas que habitan confiadamente; todas ellas habitan sin muros, y no tienen cerrojos ni puertas;

12 t o take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

para arrebatar despojos y para tomar botín, para extender tus manos sobre las tierras desiertas ya pobladas, y sobre el pueblo recogido de entre las naciones, que ha repuesto su ganado y su hacienda, y que habita en el centro de la tierra.

13 S heba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

Sebá y Dedán, y los mercaderes de Tarsis con todos sus magnates, te dirán: ¿Has venido a arrebatar despojos? ¿Has reunido tu multitud para tomar botín, para llevarte la plata y el oro, para tomar ganados y posesiones, para hacer un gran botín?

14 T herefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

Por tanto, profetiza hijo de hombre, y di a Gog: Así dice el Señor Jehová: En aquel tiempo, cuando mi pueblo Israel habite con seguridad, ¿no lo sabrás tú?

15 A nd thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:

Vendrás de tu lugar, de las más remotas regiones del norte, tú y muchos pueblos contigo, todos ellos a caballo, una gran multitud y un poderoso ejército,

16 a nd thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

y subirás contra mi pueblo Israel como un nublado para cubrir la tierra; esto será al final de los días; y te traeré contra mi tierra, para que las naciones me conozcan, cuando sea santificado a costa tuya, oh Gog, delante de sus ojos.

17 T hus saith the Lord God; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?

Así dice el Señor Jehová: ¿Eres tú aquel de quien hablé yo en tiempos pasados por mis siervos los profetas de Israel, los cuales profetizaron en aquellos tiempos, durante muchos años, que yo te había de traer contra ellos?

18 A nd it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.

Ocurrirá en aquel tiempo, cuando venga Gog contra la tierra de Israel, dice Jehová el Señor, que subirá mi ira en mi enojo.

19 F or in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

Porque he hablado en mi celo, y en el fuego de mi ira: De cierto en aquel tiempo habrá un gran terremoto en la tierra de Israel;

20 s o that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

tanto, que los peces del mar, las aves del cielo, las bestias del campo y todo reptil que se arrastra sobre la tierra, y todos los hombres que están sobre la faz de la tierra, temblarán ante mi presencia; y se desmoronarán los montes, y las rocas caerán, y todo muro caerá por tierra.

21 A nd I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord God: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.

Y en todos mis montes llamaré contra él la espada, dice el Señor Jehová; la espada de cada cual se volverá contra su hermano.

22 A nd I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

Y yo litigaré contra él con peste y con sangre; y haré llover sobre él, sobre sus tropas y sobre los muchos pueblos que están con él, impetuosa lluvia, y piedras de granizo, fuego y azufre.

23 T hus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

Así manifestaré mi grandeza y mi santidad, y me daré a conocer ante los ojos de muchas naciones; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
