2 P reserve my life, for I am holy; You are my God; Save Your servant who trusts in You!
Preserve my soul; for I am merciful, O thou my God, save thy slave that trusts in thee.
3 B e merciful to me, O Lord, For I cry to You all day long.
Be merciful unto me, O Lord, for I cry unto thee daily.
4 R ejoice the soul of Your servant, For to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
Rejoice the soul of thy slave, for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5 F or You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.
For thou, Lord, art good and ready to forgive and plenteous in mercy unto all those that call upon thee.
6 G ive ear, O Lord, to my prayer; And attend to the voice of my supplications.
Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer and attend to the voice of my supplications.
7 I n the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me.

8 A mong the gods there is none like You, O Lord; Nor are there any works like Your works.
¶ Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord, neither is there any other who does thy works.
9 A ll nations whom You have made Shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And shall glorify Your name.
All the Gentiles whom thou hast made shall come and humble themselves before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
10 F or You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God.
For thou art great and doest wondrous things; thou alone art God.
11 T each me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.
Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth; firm up my heart that I might fear thy name.
12 I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore.
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
13 F or great is Your mercy toward me, And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
For great is thy mercy upon me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest part of Sheol.
14 O God, the proud have risen against me, And a mob of violent men have sought my life, And have not set You before them.
O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul and have not set thee before them.
15 B ut You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.
But thou, O Lord, art a merciful and gracious God, longsuffering and plenteous in mercy and truth.
16 O h, turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give Your strength to Your servant, And save the son of Your maidservant.
O look into me and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy slave and keep the son of thine handmaid.
17 S how me a sign for good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.
Show me a token for good that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed because thou, O LORD, hast helped me and comforted me.
