1 A nd it cometh to pass on the eighth day, Moses hath called for Aaron and for his sons, and for the elders of Israel,

Qua ngày thứ tám, Môi-se gọi A-rôn và các con trai người cùng những trưởng lão của Y-sơ-ra-ên,

2 a nd he saith unto Aaron, `Take to thyself a calf, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, perfect ones, and bring near before Jehovah.

rồi dạy A-rôn rằng: Hãy bắt một con bò con đực đặng làm của lễ chuộc tội, một con chiên đực làm của lễ thiêu, đều không tì vít chi, và dâng lên trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va.

3 ` And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and a calf, and a lamb, sons of a year, perfect ones, for a burnt-offering,

Ngươi hãy nói cùng dân Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: Các ngươi hãy bắt một con dê đực làm của lễ chuộc tội, một con bò con và một con chiên con không tì vít chi, một tuổi, đặng dùng làm của lễ thiêu,

4 a nd a bullock and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before Jehovah, and a present mixed with oil; for to-day Jehovah hath appeared unto you.'

một con bò tơ, một con chiên đực đặng dùng làm của lễ thù ân, để dâng lên trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va, và một của lễ chay chế dầu; vì ngày nay Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ hiện ra cùng các ngươi.

5 A nd they take that which Moses hath commanded unto the front of the tent of meeting, and all the company draw near and stand before Jehovah;

Vậy, họ dẫn đến trước hội mạc những vật Môi-se đã dặn biểu; rồi cả hội chúng đến gần đứng trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va.

6 a nd Moses saith, `This the thing which Jehovah hath commanded; do, and the honour of Jehovah doth appear unto you.'

Môi-se nói rằng: Đây là các điều Đức Giê-hô-va phán dặn; hãy làm đi, thì sự vinh quang của Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ hiện ra cùng các ngươi.

7 A nd Moses saith unto Aaron, `Draw near unto the altar, and make thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people, and make the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Jehovah hath commanded.'

Đoạn, Môi-se nói cùng A-rôn rằng: Ngươi hãy đến gần bàn thờ dâng của lễ chuộc tội và của lễ thiêu của ngươi đi, để vì ngươi và vì dân sự làm lễ chuộc tội; lại cùng hãy dâng của lễ của dân sự và làm lễ chuộc tội cho họ, y như Đức Giê-hô-va đã phán dặn vậy.

8 A nd Aaron draweth near unto the altar, and slaughtereth the calf of the sin-offering, which for himself;

A-rôn bèn lại gần bàn thờ, giết bò con đực dùng làm của lễ chuộc tội.

9 a nd the sons of Aaron bring the blood near unto him, and he dippeth his finger in the blood, and putteth on the horns of the altar, and the blood he hath poured out at the foundation of the altar;

Các con trai người đem huyết đến; người nhúng ngón tay vào, bôi trên các sừng bàn thờ, rồi đổ huyết dưới chân bàn thờ.

10 a nd the fat, and the kidneys, and the redundance of the liver, of the sin-offering, he hath made a perfume on the altar, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses;

Người lấy đem xông trên bàn thờ mỡ, hai trái cật và tấm da mỏng bọc gan của con sinh tế chuộc tội, y như Đức Giê-hô-va đã phán dặn Môi-se.

11 a nd the flesh and the skin he hath burnt with fire, at the outside of the camp.

Còn thịt và da, người đem ra thiêu ngoài trại quân.

12 A nd he slaughtereth the burnt-offering, and the sons of Aaron have presented unto him the blood, and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about;

Đoạn, người giết con sinh dùng làm của lễ thiêu. Các con trai A-rôn đem huyết đến, người rưới chung quanh trên bàn thờ.

13 a nd the burnt-offering they have presented unto him, by its pieces, and the head, and he maketh perfume on the altar;

Họ cũng đem cho A-rôn thịt của lễ thiêu sả ra từ miếng và dầu, rồi người xông hết trên bàn thờ.

14 a nd he washeth the inwards and the legs, and maketh perfume for the burnt-offering on the altar.

Đoạn, người rửa bộ lòng và các giò, đem xông trên của lễ thiêu nơi bàn thờ.

15 A nd he bringeth near the offering of the people, and taketh the goat of the sin-offering which for the people, and slaughtered it, and maketh it a sin-offering, like the first;

Người cũng dâng của lễ của dân sự; bắt con dê đực dùng làm của lễ chuộc tội cho dân sự, giết nó và dâng lên đặng chuộc tội, y như của lễ đầu tiên;

16 a nd he bringeth near the burnt-offering, and maketh it, according to the ordinance;

lại người cũng dâng của lễ thiêu theo luật lệ đã định.

17 a nd he bringeth near the present, and filleth his palm with it, and maketh perfume on the altar, apart from the burnt-offering of the morning.

Kế đó, người dâng của lễ chay, trút đầy bụm tay mình đem xông trên bàn thờ, ngoại trừ của lễ thiêu hồi ban mai.

18 A nd he slaughtereth the bullock and the ram, a sacrifice of the peace-offerings, which for the people, and sons of Aaron present the blood unto him (and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about),

Người cũng vì dân sự giết con bò tơ và con chiên đực làm của lễ thù ân. Các con trai A-rôn đem huyết đến, và người rưới chung quanh trên bàn thờ.

19 a nd the fat of the bullock, and of the ram, the fat tail, and the covering, and the kidneys, and the redundance above the liver,

Họ cũng đem đến cho người mỡ của con bò tơ và con chiên đực, đuôi, mỡ trên bộ lòng, hai trái cật, và tấm da mỏng bọc gan;

20 a nd they set the fat on the breasts, and he maketh perfume with the fat on the altar;

để những mỡ nầy trên o, rồi xông mỡ nơi bàn thờ.

21 a nd the breasts, and the right leg hath Aaron waved -- a wave-offering before Jehovah, as He hath commanded Moses.

Đoạn, A-rôn lấy cái o và giò hữu đưa qua đưa lại trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va, y như Môi-se đã dặn biểu.

22 A nd Aaron lifteth up his hand towards the people, and blesseth them, and cometh down from making the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.

A-rôn giơ tay mình trên dân sự chúc phước cho; sau khi dâng của lễ chuộc tội, của lễ thiêu, và của lễ thù ân, thì người bước xuống khỏi bàn thờ.

23 A nd Moses goeth in -- Aaron also -- unto the tent of meeting, and they come out, and bless the people, and the honour of Jehovah appeareth unto all the people;

Môi-se và A-rôn bèn vào hội mạc, kế lại ra chúc phước cho dân sự; sự vinh quang của Đức Giê-hô-va hiện ra cùng cả dân sự:

24 a nd fire cometh out from before Jehovah, and consumeth on the altar the burnt-offering, and the fat; and all the people see, and cry aloud, and fall on their faces.

một ngọn lửa từ trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va lóe ra thiêu hóa của lễ thiêu và mỡ trên bàn thờ. Cả dân sự thấy, đều cất tiếng reo mừng và sấp mặt xuống đất.
