1 N u nouă, Doamne, nu nouă, ci Numelui Tău dă slavă pentru bunătatea Ta, pentru credincioşia Ta!

Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.

2 P entruce că zică neamurile:,, Unde este Dumnezeul lor?``

Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?

3 D umnezeul nostru este în cer, El face tot ce vrea.

But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

4 I dolii lor sînt argint şi aur, făcuţi de mîni omeneşti.

Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

5 A u gură, dar nu vorbesc, au ochi, dar nu văd,

They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

6 a u urechi, dar n'aud, au nas, dar nu miroase,

They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

7 a u mîni, dar nu pipăie, picioare, dar nu merg; nu scot niciun sunet din gîtlejul lor.

They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

8 C a ei sînt cei ce -i fac; toţi cei ce se încred în ei.

They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

9 I sraele, încrede-te în Domnul! El este ajutorul şi scutul lor.

O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

10 C asa lui Aaron, încrede-te în Domnul! El este ajutorul şi scutul lor.

O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

11 C ei ce vă temeţi de Domnul, încredeţi-vă în Domnul! El este ajutorul şi scutul lor.

Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

12 D omnul Şi-aduce aminte de noi: El va binecuvînta, va binecuvînta casa lui Israel, va binecuvînta casa lui Aaron,

The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13 v a binecuvînta pe cei ce se tem de Domnul, pe cei mici şi pe cei mari.

He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.

14 D omnul să vă înmulţească tot mai mult, pe voi şi pe copiii voştri!

The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15 F iţi binecuvîntaţi de Domnul, care a făcut cerurile şi pămîntul!

Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.

16 C erurile sînt ale Domnului, dar pămîntul l -a dat fiilor oamenilor.

The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord 's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17 N u morţii laudă pe Domnul, şi nici vreunul din cei ce se pogoară în locul tăcerii,

The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.

18 c i noi, noi vom binecuvînta pe Domnul, deacum şi pînă în veac. Lăudaţi pe Domnul!

But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord.
