1 T hen the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
2 “ Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering.
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they take for me an offering: of every man whose heart maketh him willing ye shall take my offering.
3 A nd this is the offering which you shall take from them: gold, silver, and bronze;
And this is the offering which ye shall take of them: gold, and silver, and brass,
4 b lue, purple, and scarlet thread, fine linen, and goats’ hair;
and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,
5 r am skins dyed red, badger skins, and acacia wood;
and rams' skins dyed red, and sealskins, and acacia wood,
6 o il for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense;

9 A ccording to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it. The Ark of the Testimony
According to all that I show thee, the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the furniture thereof, even so shall ye make it.
10 “ And they shall make an ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits shall be its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.
And they shall make an ark of acacia wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
11 A nd you shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and out you shall overlay it, and shall make on it a molding of gold all around.
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.
12 Y ou shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in its four corners; two rings shall be on one side, and two rings on the other side.
And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four feet thereof; and two rings shall be on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.
13 A nd you shall make poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.
And thou shalt make staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.
14 Y ou shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, that the ark may be carried by them.
And thou shalt put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, wherewith to bear the ark.
15 T he poles shall be in the rings of the ark; they shall not be taken from it.
The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
16 A nd you shall put into the ark the Testimony which I will give you.
And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.
17 “ You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be its length and a cubit and a half its width.
And thou shalt make a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
18 A nd you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.
And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold; of beaten work shalt thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat.
19 M ake one cherub at one end, and the other cherub at the other end; you shall make the cherubim at the two ends of it of one piece with the mercy seat.
And make one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end: of one piece with the mercy-seat shall ye make the cherubim on the two ends thereof.
20 A nd the cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and they shall face one another; the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.
And the cherubim shall spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.
21 Y ou shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.
And thou shalt put the mercy-seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
22 A nd there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel. The Table for the Showbread
And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
23 “ You shall also make a table of acacia wood; two cubits shall be its length, a cubit its width, and a cubit and a half its height.
And thou shalt make a table of acacia wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
24 A nd you shall overlay it with pure gold, and make a molding of gold all around.
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.
25 Y ou shall make for it a frame of a handbreadth all around, and you shall make a gold molding for the frame all around.
And thou shalt make unto it a border of a handbreadth round about; and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.
26 A nd you shall make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings on the four corners that are at its four legs.
And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.
27 T he rings shall be close to the frame, as holders for the poles to bear the table.
Close by the border shall the rings be, for places for the staves to bear the table.
28 A nd you shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be carried with them.
And thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.
29 Y ou shall make its dishes, its pans, its pitchers, and its bowls for pouring. You shall make them of pure gold.
And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and the spoons thereof, and the flagons thereof, and the bowls thereof, wherewith to pour out: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
30 A nd you shall set the showbread on the table before Me always. The Gold Lampstand
And thou shalt set upon the table showbread before me alway.
31 “ You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of one piece.
And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made, even its base, and its shaft; its cups, its knops, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it.
32 A nd six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side.
And there shall be six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:
33 T hree bowls shall be made like almond blossoms on one branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower, and three bowls made like almond blossoms on the other branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower—and so for the six branches that come out of the lampstand.
three cups made like almond-blossoms in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three cups made like almond-blossoms in the other branch, a knop and a flower: so for the six branches going out of the candlestick:
34 O n the lampstand itself four bowls shall be made like almond blossoms, each with its ornamental knob and flower.
and in the candlestick four cups made like almond-blossoms, the knops thereof, and the flowers thereof;
35 A nd there shall be a knob under the first two branches of the same, a knob under the second two branches of the same, and a knob under the third two branches of the same, according to the six branches that extend from the lampstand.
and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the candlestick.
36 T heir knobs and their branches shall be of one piece; all of it shall be one hammered piece of pure gold.
Their knops and their branches shall be of one piece with it; the whole of it one beaten work of pure gold.
37 Y ou shall make seven lamps for it, and they shall arrange its lamps so that they give light in front of it.
And thou shalt make the lamps thereof, seven: and they shall light the lamps thereof, to give light over against it.
38 A nd its wick-trimmers and their trays shall be of pure gold.
And the snuffers thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.
39 I t shall be made of a talent of pure gold, with all these utensils.
Of a talent of pure gold shall it be made, with all these vessels.
40 A nd see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain.
And see that thou make them after their pattern, which hath been showed thee in the mount.
