1 T he Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The Lord has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.
¶ The LORD reigns; he has clothed himself with majesty; the LORD has clothed himself with strength; he has girded himself: he has established the world also, that it cannot be moved.
2 Y our throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.
From this time on, thy throne shall never be moved; thou art eternal.
3 T he floods have lifted up, O Lord, The floods have lifted up their voice, The floods lift up their pounding waves.
The rivers have lifted up, O LORD; the rivers have lifted up their voice; the rivers lift up their waves.
4 M ore than the sounds of many waters, Than the mighty breakers of the sea, The Lord on high is mighty.
The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5 Y our testimonies are fully confirmed; Holiness befits Your house, O Lord, forevermore.
Thy testimonies are very sure; holiness becomes thy house, O LORD, for ever.
