1 N ow the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
2 “ See, I have called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
3 I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,
and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and in intelligence and in science and in all manner of workmanship,
4 t o make artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in bronze,
to devise cunning works, to work in gold and in silver and in brass,
5 a nd in the cutting of stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, that he may work in all kinds of craftsmanship.
and in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.
6 A nd behold, I Myself have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all who are skillful I have put skill, that they may make all that I have commanded you:
And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the desire of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom that they may make all that I have commanded thee:
7 t he tent of meeting, and the ark of testimony, and the mercy seat upon it, and all the furniture of the tent,
The tabernacle of the testimony and the ark of the testimony and the seat of reconciliation that shall be upon it and all the vessels of the tabernacle
8 t he table also and its utensils, and the pure gold lampstand with all its utensils, and the altar of incense,
and the table and its vessels and the pure lampstand with all its vessels and the altar of incense,
9 t he altar of burnt offering also with all its utensils, and the laver and its stand,
and the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels and the laver and its base
10 t he woven garments as well, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, with which to carry on their priesthood;
and the clothes of service and the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons that they may be priests,
11 t he anointing oil also, and the fragrant incense for the holy place, they are to make them according to all that I have commanded you.” The Sign of the Sabbath
and the anointing oil and aromatic incense for the sanctuary; they shall do according to all that I have commanded thee.
12 T he Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
¶ And the LORD spoke further unto Moses, saying,
13 “ But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘ You shall surely observe My sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
And thou shalt speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, With all this ye shall keep my sabbaths; for it is a sign between me and you throughout your ages; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
14 T herefore you are to observe the sabbath, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.
Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you; those that defile it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15 F or six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, holy to the Lord; whoever does any work on the sabbath day shall surely be put to death.
Six days shall work be done; but the seventh, the sabbath of rest, shall be holy to the LORD; whoever does any work in the sabbath day shall surely be put to death.
16 S o the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.’
Therefore the sons of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their ages for a perpetual covenant.
17 I t is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased from labor, and was refreshed.”
It is a sign between me and the sons of Israel for ever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.
18 W hen He had finished speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God.
And he gave unto Moses, when he finished speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, two tables of the testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
