1 Halelu-JAH. O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good, for his mercy endures for ever.

Praise ye Jehovah. Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness endureth forever.

2 W ho can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? Who can show forth all his praise?

3 H appy are those that keep judgment and he that does righteousness at all times.

Blessed are they that keep justice, And he that doeth righteousness at all times.

4 R emember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou dost bear unto thy people; O visit me with thy saving health,

Remember me, O Jehovah, with the favor that thou bearest unto thy people; Oh visit me with thy salvation,

5 t hat I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

21 T hey forgot the God of their saving health, who had done great things in Egypt,

26 T herefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness,

36 A nd they served their idols, which were a snare unto them.

37 Y ea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils

40 T herefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

41 A nd he gave them into the hand of the Gentiles, and those that hated them ruled over them.

42 T heir enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

43 H e delivered them many times, but they rebelled at his counsel and were brought low for their iniquity.

44 N evertheless he would look upon their affliction and hear their cry

Nevertheless he regarded their distress, When he heard their cry:

45 a nd remember his covenant with them and repent according to the multitude of his mercies.

46 H e also caused those that carried them captives to have mercy upon them.

He made them also to be pitied Of all those that carried them captive.

47 S ave us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the Gentiles, that we might lift up thy holy name, that we might glory in thy praise.

Save us, O Jehovah our God, And gather us from among the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, And to triumph in thy praise.

48 B lessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting; and let all the people say, Amen. Halelu-JAH.

Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. And let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye Jehovah.
