1 T he Lord said to Moses,

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Say to the people of Israel, ‘These are the special suppers of the Lord, which you will keep for holy meetings. These are My special suppers.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, the set feasts of Jehovah, which ye shall proclaim as holy convocations—these are my set feasts.

3 W ork may be done for six days. But the seventh day is the Day of Rest, a holy meeting when you do no work at all. It is the Day of Rest to the Lord in all your homes. The Supper of Bread without Yeast

Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; no manner of work shall ye do: it is the sabbath to Jehovah in all your dwellings.

4 These are the special suppers of the Lord, the holy meetings you will keep at the right times.

These are the set feasts of Jehovah, holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons:

5 O n the fourteenth day of the first month in the evening begins the Lord’s religious gathering to remember how His people left Egypt.

In the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, between the two evenings, is the passover to Jehovah.

6 O n the fifteenth day of the same month is the Lord’s special supper of bread without yeast. For seven days you will eat bread made without yeast.

And on the fifteenth day of this month is the feast of unleavened bread to Jehovah; seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread.

7 O n the first day you will have a holy meeting. You will not do any hard work.

On the first day ye shall have a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do.

8 B ut you will give a gift by fire to the Lord for seven days. On the seventh day is a holy meeting. You will not do any hard work.’” The Supper of First Fruits

And ye shall present to Jehovah an offering by fire seven days; on the seventh day is a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do.

9 T hen the Lord said to Moses,

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

10 Say to the people of Israel, ‘When you come into the land I am going to give you and gather its grain, bring some of the first fruits of your grain to the religious leader.

Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, When ye come into the land that I give unto you, and ye reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest unto the priest.

11 H e will wave the grain before the Lord for you to be received. The religious leader will wave it on the day after the Day of Rest.

And he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah, to be accepted for you; on the next day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

12 O n the day when you wave the grain, you will give a perfect, one year old male lamb as a burnt gift to the Lord.

And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf, a he-lamb without blemish, a yearling, for a burnt-offering to Jehovah;

13 T he grain gift with it will be one-fifth part of a basket of fine flour mixed with oil. It is a gift by fire to the Lord for a pleasing smell. And the drink gift with it will be a jar of wine.

and the oblation thereof: two tenths of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering by fire to Jehovah for a sweet odour; and the drink-offering thereof, of wine, a fourth part of a hin.

14 D o not eat bread or dry grain or new grain until this same day, when you have brought the gift to your God. It is to be a Law forever for all your people in all your homes. The Supper of Weeks

And ye shall not eat bread, or roast corn, or green ears, until the same day that ye have brought the offering of your God: an everlasting statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

15 Number seven full weeks from the day after the Day of Rest, from the day when you give the grain for the wave gift. There will be seven whole Days of Rest.

And ye shall count from the morning after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave-offering, seven weeks; they shall be complete;

16 N umber fifty days to the day after the seventh Day of Rest. Then give a new grain gift to the Lord.

even unto the morning after the seventh sabbath shall ye count fifty days; and ye shall present a new oblation to Jehovah.

17 B ring from your homes two loaves of bread for a wave gift, made of one-fifth part of a basket of fine flour. They will be made with yeast, as first-fruits to the Lord.

Out of your dwellings shall ye bring two wave-loaves, of two tenths of fine flour; with leaven shall they be baken; first-fruits to Jehovah.

18 W ith the bread give seven one year old male lambs that are perfect, and one young bull, and two rams. They will be a burnt gift to the Lord, with their grain gift and their drink gift. It is a gift by fire with a pleasing smell to the Lord.

And ye shall present with the bread seven he-lambs without blemish, yearlings, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be a burnt-offering to Jehovah with their oblation, and their drink-offerings, an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah.

19 T hen give one male goat for a sin gift and two male lambs one year old for a peace gift.

And ye shall sacrifice one buck of the goats for a sin-offering, and two he-lambs, yearlings, for a sacrifice of peace-offering.

20 T he religious leader will wave them with the bread of the first-fruits as a wave gift before the Lord, with the two lambs. They will be holy to the Lord for the religious leader.

And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first-fruits as a wave-offering before Jehovah, with the two he-lambs; they shall be holy to Jehovah, for the priest.

21 O n this same day call together a holy meeting. Do no hard work. It is a Law forever in all your homes for all your people.

And ye shall make proclamation on that same day—a holy convocation shall it be unto you: no manner of servile work shall ye do: an everlasting statute in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

22 When you gather the food of your land, do not pick all the way to the corners of your field. And do not gather the food that falls. Leave it for those in need and the stranger. I am the Lord your God.’” The Supper of Horns

And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not in thy harvest entirely reap the corners of thy field, and the gleaning of thy harvest shalt thou not gather: thou shalt leave them unto the poor and to the stranger: I am Jehovah your God.

23 T he Lord said to Moses,

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

24 Say to the people of Israel, ‘On the first day of the seventh month, you will have a Day of Rest. It will be a day of remembering, made known by the blowing of horns, a holy meeting.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, shall ye have a rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

25 D o not do any hard work. But give a gift by fire to the Lord.’” A Day to Be Made Free from Sin

No manner of servile work shall ye do; and ye shall present an offering by fire to Jehovah.

26 T hen the Lord said to Moses,

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

27 The tenth day of this seventh month is the day to be made free from sin. It will be a holy meeting for you. You will be without pride and give a gift by fire to the Lord.

Also on the tenth of this seventh month is the day of the atonement: a holy convocation shall it be unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and present an offering by fire to Jehovah.

28 Do no work on this day. For it is a day to be made free from sin, to be made free from your sin before the Lord your God.

And ye shall do no manner of work on that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before Jehovah your God.

29 I f there is any person who will not be free from his pride on this day, he will be kept away from his people.

For every soul that is not afflicted on that same day, shall be cut off from among his peoples.

30 W hoever does any work on this day, I will destroy from among his people.

And every soul that doeth any manner of work on that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

31 D o no work at all. It is a Law forever for all your people in all your homes.

No manner of work shall ye do: an everlasting statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

32 I t will be a Day of Rest for you. And you must be without pride. You will keep your Day of Rest from evening until evening on the ninth day of the month.” Supper of Tents

A sabbath of rest shall it be unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls. On the ninth of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

33 T he Lord said to Moses,

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

34 Say to the people of Israel, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the special supper of tents to the Lord. It will last seven days.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of booths seven days to Jehovah.

35 A holy meeting will be on the first day. Do no hard work of any kind.

On the first day there shall be a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do.

36 G ive a gift by fire to the Lord for seven days. On the eighth day have a holy meeting and give a gift by fire to the Lord. It is a special gathering. Do no hard work.

Seven days ye shall present an offering by fire to Jehovah; on the eighth day shall be a holy convocation unto you; and ye shall present an offering by fire to Jehovah: it is a solemn assembly; no manner of servile work shall ye do.

37 These are the special suppers, the holy meetings you will keep at the right times. They will be for giving to the Lord gifts by fire, burnt gifts and grain gifts, gifts of animals and drink gifts, each on its own day.

These are the set feasts of Jehovah, which ye shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present an offering by fire to Jehovah, a burnt-offering, and an oblation, a sacrifice, and drink-offerings, everything upon its day;

38 T hese are to be added to the Days of Rest of the Lord, and your gifts, both those that are promised and your free-will gifts that you give to the Lord.

besides the sabbaths of Jehovah, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your voluntary offerings, which ye give to Jehovah.

39 On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered the food of your land, you will have the special supper of the Lord for seven days. The first day and the eighth day will be Days of Rest.

But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the produce of the land, ye shall celebrate the feast of Jehovah seven days: on the first day there shall be rest, and on the eighth day there shall be rest.

40 O n the first day, you will take the leaves of beautiful trees, branches of trees with big leaves and of trees beside the river. And be full of joy before the Lord your God for seven days.

And ye shall take on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, palm branches and the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Jehovah your God seven days.

41 Y ou will keep it as a special supper to the Lord seven days in the year. It will be a Law forever for all your people. You will have it in the seventh month.

And ye shall celebrate it as a feast to Jehovah seven days in the year: an everlasting statute throughout your generations; in the seventh month shall ye celebrate it.

42 Y ou will live in tents for seven days. All who were born in Israel will live in tents.

In booths shall ye dwell seven days; all born in Israel shall dwell in booths;

43 S o all your people to come may know that I had the people of Israel live in tents when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’”

that your generations may know that I caused the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Jehovah your God.

44 S o Moses made known to the people of Israel the special suppers of the Lord.

And Moses declared the set feasts of Jehovah to the children of Israel.
