1 م ِنْ بُولُسَ رَسُولِ المَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ وَمِنَ الأخِ تِيمُوثاوُسَ،

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

2 إ لَى المُؤمِنِينَ المُقَدَّسينَ فِي كُولُوسِي، الإخوَةِ الأُمَناءِ فِي المَسِيحِ. نِعمَةُ اللهِ أبِينا عَلَيكُمْ، وَسَلامُهُ مَعَكُمْ. شُكرٌ وَصَلاة

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ that are at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.

3 إ نَّنا نَشْكُرُ اللهَ أبا رَبِّنا يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ مِنْ أجلِكُمْ كُلَّما صَلَّيْنا.

We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

4 ن َشكُرُهُ عَلَى ما سَمِعناهُ عَنْ إيمانِكُمْ بِالمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ، وَالمَحَبَّةِ الَّتِي تُظهِرُونَها لِكُلِّ المُؤمِنِينَ.

having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints,

5 و َأنتُمْ لا تَتَراخُونَ فِي ذَلِكَ بِسَبَبِ الرَّجاءِ المَحفُوظِ لَكُمْ فِي السَّماءِ. وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُمْ عَنْ هَذا الرَّجاءِ فِي البِدايَةِ فِي رِسالَةِ الحَقِّ الَّتِي فِي البِشارَةِ

because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

6 ا لَّتي وَصَلَتْ إلَيكُمْ كَما وَصَلَتْ إلَى العالَمِ كُلِّهِ. وَهي تُثمِرُ فِي العالَمِ كَما أثمَرَت فيكُمْ مُنذُ أنْ سَمِعْتُمْ عَنْ نِعمَةِ اللهِ وَفَهِمتُمُوها.

which is come unto you; even as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as it doth in you also, since the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

7 ل َقَدْ تَعَلَّمتُمْ تِلكَ الرِّسالَةَ مِنْ أبَفراسَ، الخادِمِ المَحبُوبِ العامِلِ مَعَنا، وَالشَّرِيكِ الأمينِ فِي خِدمَةِ المَسِيحِ مِنْ أجلِكُمْ.

even as ye learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow-servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf,

8 و َهُوَ الَّذي حَدَّثَنا عَنْ مَحَبَّتِكُمُ النّابِعَةِ مِنَ الرُّوحِ القُدُسِ.

who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

9 و َمُنذُ أنْ سَمِعنا ذَلِكَ عَنكُمْ، لَمْ نَكُفَّ عَنِ الصَّلاةِ مِنْ أجلِكُمْ: أنْ يَكشِفَ لَكُمُ اللهُ كُلَّ شَيءٍ عَنْ إرادَتِهِ، وَأنْ يُعطِيَكُمْ كُلَّ حِكمَةٍ وَفَهمٍ رُوحِيٍّ،

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

10 ل ِكَي تَسلُكُوا كَما يَلِيقُ بِالرَّبِّ، وَتُرضُوهُ فِي كُلِّ شَيءٍ. أنْ تُثمِروا فِي كُلِّ أنواعِ الأعمالِ الصّالِحَةِ، وَأنْ تَنموا فِي مَعرِفَةِ اللهِ دائِماً.

to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 أ نْ تَتَقَوُّوا بِكُلِّ قُوَّةٍ نابِعَةٍ مِنْ قُوَّتِهِ المَجِيدَةِ، فَتَصَبِرُوا وَتَتَحَمَّلُوا المَشَقّات بِفَرَحٍ.

strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;

12 ف َاشْكُروا الآبَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ مُؤَهَّلينَ لِلمُشارَكَةِ فِي مِيراثِ المُقَدَّسِينَ الَّذِينَ يَحيَونَ فِي النُّورِ،

giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;

13 ا لآبَ الَّذِي أنقَذَنا مِنْ سُلْطَةِ الظُّلمَةِ، وَنَقَلَنا إلَى مُلكِ ابنِهِ الحَبِيبِ

who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;

14 ا لذَّي فَدانا، وَفيهِ غُفْرانُ خَطايانا. اللهُ فِي المَسِيح

in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:

15 و َالابنُ هُوَ صُورَةُ اللهِ غَيرِ المَنظُورِ، وَهوَ السّائِدُ عَلَى كُلِّ الخَلِيقَةِ.

who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;

16 ب ِهِ خُلِقَ كُلُّ ما فِي السَّماءِ وَما عَلَى الأرْضِ: ما هُوَ مَرئِيٌّ وَما هُوَ غَيرُ مَرئِيٍّ، سَواءٌ أكانَ عُرُوشاً أمْ رُؤَساءَ أمْ حُكّاماً أمْ سُلُطاتٍ. كُلُّ ما خُلِقَ، خُلِقَ بِهِ وَمِنْ أجلِهِ.

for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;

17 ك انَ قَبلَ كُلِّ الأشياءِ، وَكُلُّ الأشياءِ بِقُوَّتِهِ تَستَمِرُّ.

and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.

18 ه ُوَ رَأْسُ الجَسَدِ، أيِ الكَنِيسَةِ. هُوَ البِدايَةُ، المُتَقَدِّمُ عَلَى جَمِيعِ الَّذِينَ سَيَقُومُونَ مِنَ المَوتِ، لِكَي يَكُونَ لَهُ المَقامُ الأوَّلُ فِي كُلِّ شَيءٍ.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 ف َقَدْ شاءَ اللهُ أنْ يَحِلَّ بِكُلِّ مِلئِهِ فِي المَسِيحِ.

For it was the good pleasure of the Father that in him should all the fulness dwell;

20 و َاختارَ أنْ يُصالِحَ كُلَّ الأشياءِ ثانِيَةً لِنَفسِهِ بِالمَسِيحِ، سَواءٌ عَلَى الأرْضِ أمْ فِي السَّماءِ. صَنَعَ اللهُ الصُّلحَ بِدَمِ يَسُوعَ المَسْفوكِ عَلَى صَلِيبِهِ.

and through him to reconcile all things unto himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, I say, whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens.

21 ف َقَدْ كُنتُمْ ذاتَ يَومٍ مُنْفَصِلينَ عَنِ اللهِ، وَكانَتْ أفْكارُكُمْ مُعادِيَةً للهِ، لأنَّ أعمالَكُمْ كانَتْ شِرِّيْرَةً.

And you, being in time past alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works,

22 أ مّا الآنَ، فَقَدْ صالَحَكُمُ المَسيحُ بِجِسمِهِ البَشَرِيِّ، بِمَوتِهِ، لِكَي يُقَدِّمَكُمْ أمامَ اللهِ مُقَدَّسِينَ، وَطاهِرِينَ، وَبِلا شائِبَةٍ.

yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before him:

23 و َذَلِكَ إنْ ثَبَتُّمْ فِي الإيمانِ، وَلَمْ تَتَخَلَّوا عَنِ الرَّجاءِ الَّذِي صارَ لَكُمْ عِندَما سَمِعْتُمُ البِشارَةَ الَّتِي أُعلِنَتْ لِكُلِّ الخَلِيقَةِ تَحتَ السَّماءِ، وَالَّتِي صِرتُ أنا بُولُسُ خادِماً لَها. خِدمَةُ بُولُس

if so be that ye continue in the faith, grounded and stedfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under heaven; whereof I Paul was made a minister.

24 أ مّا الآنَ، فَأنا أفرَحُ فِي ما أُعانِيهِ مِنْ أجلِكُمْ، وَبِهَذا أُتَمِّمُ حِصَّتِي مِنْ آلامِ المَسِيحِ فِي جَسَدِي، مِنْ أجلِ جَسَدِهِ، أيِ الكَنِيسَةِ.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church;

25 و َقَدْ صِرتُ خادِماً مِنْ خُدّامِها بِتَكلِيفٍ مِنَ اللهِ مِنْ أجلِ مَنفَعَتِكُمْ، لِكَيْ أُذِيْعَ رِسالَةَ اللهِ كامِلَةً.

whereof I was made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which was given me to you-ward, to fulfil the word of God,

26 ت ِلْكَ الرِّسالَةَ الَّتِي كانَتْ سِرّاً خافِياً لِعُصُورٍ وَأجيالٍ، لَكِنَّ اللهَ أعلَنَها الآنَ لِشَعبِهِ المُقَدَّسِ.

even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,

27 إ ذْ أرادَ أنْ يُعَرِّفَهُمْ بِأنَّ الغِنَى المَجِيدُ لِهَذا السِّرِّ هُوَ لِجَمِيعِ الشُّعُوبِ، وَهُوَ أنَّ المَسِيحَ فِيكُمْ هُوَ الرَّجاءُ لِلمُشارَكَةِ فِي مَجدِ اللهِ.

to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

28 ف َنَحنُ نُنادِي بِالمَسِيحِ وَنُرشِدُ وَنُعَلِّمُ كُلَّ شَخصٍ بِكُلِّ حِكمَةٍ، لِكَيْ نُقَدِّمَ كُلَّ إنسانٍ للهِ ناضِجاً فِي المَسِيحِ.

whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ;

29 و َأنا أتعَبُ مِنْ أجلِ هَذِا الهَدَفِ، مُكافِحاً بِقُوَّةِ المَسِيحِ الَّذي يَعمَلُ فِيَّ.

whereunto I labor also, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
