1 ي ا كُلَّ شُعُوبِ الأرْضِ، صَفِّقُوا بِالأيادِي فَرَحاً، وَعَلُّوا تَرانِيمَ التَّسبِيحِ للهِ.

Oh clap your hands, all ye peoples; Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

2 ل أنَّ اللهَ العَلِيَّ عَظِيمُ الهَيبَةِ هُوَ المَلِكُ العَظِيمُ عَلَى كُلِّ الأرْضِ.

For Jehovah Most High is terrible; He is a great King over all the earth.

3 أ خضَعَ لَنا شُعُوباً، وَوَضَعَها تَحتَ أقدامِنا.

He subdueth peoples under us, And nations under our feet.

4 ا للهُ يُحِبُّ يَعقُوبَ. وَهُوَ الَّذِي اختارَ لَنا مِيراثَنا الَّذِي اعتَزَّ بِهِ يَعقُوبُ. سِلاهْ

He chooseth our inheritance for us, The glory of Jacob whom he loved. Selah

5 ي َصْعَدُ اللهُ مَصحُوباً بِهُتافٍ. يَصْعَدُ اللهُ مَصحُوباً بِصَوتِ البُوقِ.

God is gone up with a shout, Jehovah with the sound of a trumpet.

6 س َبِّحُوا اللهَ، سَبِّحُوهُ. سَبِّحُوا مَلِكِنا، سَبِّحُوهُ.

Sing praise to God, sing praises: Sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

7 ل أنَّ اللهَ هُوَ المَلِكُ عَلَى كُلِّ الأرْضِ، سَبِّحُوهُ بِأشْعارٍ عَذْبَةٍ.

For God is the King of all the earth: Sing ye praises with understanding.

8 ي َملُكُ اللهُ عَلَى جَمِيعِ الشُّعُوبِ، يَجلِسُ اللهُ عَلَى عَرشِهِ المُقَدَّسِ.

God reigneth over the nations: God sitteth upon his holy throne.

9 ي َتَجَمَّعُ قادَةُ الشُّعُوبِ لِمُلاقاةِ إلَهِ إبراهِيمَ. لأنَّ الأقوِياءَ فِي الأرْضِ هُمْ للهِ، وَهُوَ فَوقَهُمْ جَمِيعاً!

The princes of the peoples are gathered together To be the people of the God of Abraham: For the shields of the earth belong unto God; He is greatly exalted.
