1 T hen answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
2 D ominion and fear are with him; He maketh peace in his high places.
“Power and fear belong to God. He keeps peace in His high places.
3 I s there any number of his armies? And upon whom doth not his light arise?
Is there any number to His armies? Upon whom does His light not shine?
4 H ow then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
How then can a man be right and good before God? How can he who is born of woman be clean?
5 B ehold, even the moon hath no brightness, And the stars are not pure in his sight:
See, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in His eyes.
6 H ow much less man, that is a worm! And the son of man, that is a worm!
How much less man, who is a bug, and the son of man, who is a worm!”
