1 B lessed be Yahweh, my rock, who teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to battle:

2 m y loving kindness, my fortress, my high tower, my deliverer, my shield, and he in whom I take refuge; who subdues my people under me.

3 Y ahweh, what is man, that you care for him? Or the son of man, that you think of him?
Jehovah, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that thou makest account of him?
4 M an is like a breath. His days are like a shadow that passes away.
Man is like to vanity: His days are as a shadow that passeth away.
5 P art your heavens, Yahweh, and come down. Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.
Bow thy heavens, O Jehovah, and come down: Touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
6 T hrow out lightning, and scatter them. Send out your arrows, and rout them.
Cast forth lightning, and scatter them; Send out thine arrows, and discomfit them.
7 S tretch out your hand from above, rescue me, and deliver me out of great waters, out of the hands of foreigners;

8 w hose mouths speak deceit, Whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
Whose mouth speaketh deceit, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
9 I will sing a new song to you, God. On a ten-stringed lyre, I will sing praises to you.
I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: Upon a psaltery of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
10 Y ou are he who gives salvation to kings, who rescues David, his servant, from the deadly sword.
Thou art he that giveth salvation unto kings; Who rescueth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
11 R escue me, and deliver me out of the hands of foreigners, whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hand of aliens, Whose mouth speaketh deceit, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
12 T hen our sons will be like well-nurtured plants, our daughters like pillars carved to adorn a palace.
When our sons shall be as plants grown up in their youth, And our daughters as corner-stones hewn after the fashion of a palace;
13 O ur barns are full, filled with all kinds of provision. Our sheep produce thousands and ten thousands in our fields.
When our garners are full, affording all manner of store, And our sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields;
14 O ur oxen will pull heavy loads. There is no breaking in, and no going away, and no outcry in our streets.
When our oxen are well laden; When there is no breaking in, and no going forth, And no outcry in our streets:
15 H appy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is Yahweh.
Happy is the people that is in such a case; Yea, happy is the people whose God is Jehovah.
