1 G ive the king Your judgments, O God, And Your righteousness to the king’s son.

Give the king Your judgments, O God, And Your righteousness to the king’s Son.

2 M ay he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice.

He will judge Your people with righteousness, And Your poor with justice.

3 L et the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.

The mountains will bring peace to the people, And the little hills, by righteousness.

4 M ay he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor.

He will bring justice to the poor of the people; He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.

5 L et them fear You while the sun endures, And as long as the moon, throughout all generations.

They shall fear You As long as the sun and moon endure, Throughout all generations.

6 M ay he come down like rain upon the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth.

He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing, Like showers that water the earth.

7 I n his days may the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace till the moon is no more.

In His days the righteous shall flourish, And abundance of peace, Until the moon is no more.

8 M ay he also rule from sea to sea And from the River to the ends of the earth.

He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.

9 L et the nomads of the desert bow before him, And his enemies lick the dust.

Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him, And His enemies will lick the dust.

10 L et the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.

The kings of Tarshish and of the isles Will bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba Will offer gifts.

11 A nd let all kings bow down before him, All nations serve him.

Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; All nations shall serve Him.

12 F or he will deliver the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper.

For He will deliver the needy when he cries, The poor also, and him who has no helper.

13 H e will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save.

He will spare the poor and needy, And will save the souls of the needy.

14 H e will rescue their life from oppression and violence, And their blood will be precious in his sight;

He will redeem their life from oppression and violence; And precious shall be their blood in His sight.

15 S o may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him; And let them pray for him continually; Let them bless him all day long.

And He shall live; And the gold of Sheba will be given to Him; Prayer also will be made for Him continually, And daily He shall be praised.

16 M ay there be abundance of grain in the earth on top of the mountains; Its fruit will wave like the cedars of Lebanon; And may those from the city flourish like vegetation of the earth.

There will be an abundance of grain in the earth, On the top of the mountains; Its fruit shall wave like Lebanon; And those of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

17 M ay his name endure forever; May his name increase as long as the sun shines; And let men bless themselves by him; Let all nations call him blessed.

His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed.

18 B lessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone works wonders.

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things!

19 A nd blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen.
