1 و َكانَتِ القُرْعةُ الثانيةُ لعَشِيرَةِ شِمْعُونَ بحسب عَشائِرِها. فَكانَتْ أرْضُهُمْ فِي داخِلِ أرْضِ قَبِيلَةِ يَهُوذا.

And the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

2 و َكانَتِ المُدُنُ التّالِيَةُ مِيراثاً لَهُمْ: بِئْرُ السَّبْعِ – أوْ شَبَعُ – وَمُولادَةُ،

And they had in their inheritance Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

3 و َحَصَرُ شُوعالَ وَبالَةُ وَعاصَمُ،

And Hazarshual, and Balah, and Azem,

4 و َألتُولَدُ وَبَتُولُ وَحُرْمَةُ،

And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

5 و َصِقلَغُ وَبَيْتُ المَرْكَبُوتِ وَحَصَرُ سُوسَةَ،

And Ziklag, and Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusah,

6 و َبَيتُ لَباوُتَ وَشارُوحَيْنُ. وَمَجمُوعُها ثَلاثَ عَشْرَةَ مَدِينَةً مَعَ قُراها.

And Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages:

7 و َعَينُ وَرِمُّونُ وَعاتَرُ وَعاشانُ. وَمَجمُوعُها أربَعُ مُدُنٍ مَعَ قُراها.

Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:

8 و َكَذَلِكَ كُلُّ القُرَى وَالحُقُولِ الَّتِي حَولَ هَذِهِ المُدُنِ إلَى بَعلَةِ بِئْرٍ، أيِ الرّامَةِ الَّتِي فِي النَّقَبِ. هَذا هُوَ مِيراثُ عَشائِرِ عَشِيرَةِ نَسلِ شِمْعُونَ.

And all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalathbeer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

9 و َكانَ مِيراثُ قَبِيلَةِ شِمْعُونَ جُزءاً مِنْ أرْضِ قَبِيلَةِ يَهُوذا. لِأنَّ حِصَّةَ قَبِيلَةِ يَهُوذا كانَتْ أكبَرَ مِمّا تَحْتاجُ إلَيِهِ. وَلِذا حَصَلَتْ قَبِيلَةُ شِمْعُونَ عَلَى مِيراثِها فِي داخِلِ مِيراثِ يَهُوذا. أرْضُ زَبُولُون

Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.

10 و َكانت القرعة الثالثة لِعَشِيرَةِ زَبُولُونَ بحَسَبِ عشائرِها. فَكانَ حَدُّ أرْضِهِمْ يَصِلُ إلَى سارِيدَ.

And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:

11 و َيَصْعَدُ الحَدُّ نَحْوَ الغَرْبِ وَنَحْوَ مَرْعَلَةَ، وَيَقْتَرِبُ كَثِيراً مِنْ دَبّاشَةَ، ثُمَّ يَصِلُ إلَى الوادِي الَّذِي إلَى الشَّرْقِ مِنْ يَقْنَعامَ.

And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam;

12 و َمِنْ سارِيدَ يَذْهَبُ الحَدُّ فِي الاتِّجاهِ المُقابِلِ نَحْوَ الشَّرقِ إلَى حَدِّ كِسلُوتِ تابُورَ، ثُمَّ يَعبُرُ الوادِي إلَى دَبْرَةَ، ثُمَّ يَصْعَدُ إلَى يافِيعَ.

And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chislothtabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia,

13 و َمِنْ هُناكَ يَمْتَدُّ إلَى الشَّرْقِ إلَى جَتَّ حافَرَ فَإلَى عِتِّ قاصِينَ. ثُمَّ يَعبُرُ الوادِي إلَى رِمُّونَ ثُمَّ يَمْتَدُّ إلَى نَيْعَةَ.

And from thence passeth on along on the east to Gittahhepher, to Ittahkazin, and goeth out to Remmonmethoar to Neah;

14 ث ُمَّ يَمْتَدُّ الحَدُّ إلَى الشِّمالِ إلَى حَنّاثُونَ، وَيَنتَهِي عِندَ وادِي يَفْتَحِئِيلَ.

And the border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthahel:

15 و َمِنْ مُدُنِهِمْ قَطَّةُ وَنَهلالُ وَشِمْرُونُ وَيَدالَةُ وَبَيْتُ لَحْم. وَمَجمُوعُ مُدُنِهِمِ اثْنَتا عَشْرَةَ مَدِينَةً مَعَ قُراها.

And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.

16 ه َذا هُوَ مِيراثُ عَشائِرِ قَبِيلَةِ زَبُولُونَ، وَهَذِهِ هِيَ مُدُنُهُمْ مَعَ قُراها. أرْضُ يَسّاكَر

This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

17 و َكانَتِ القُرْعةُ الرّابعةُ لِعَشِيرَةَ يَسّاكَرَ بِحَسَبِ عَشائِرِها.

And the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.

18 و َكانَتْ أرْضُهُمْ تَضُمُّ مُدُنَ يَزْرَعِيلَ وَالكِسلُوتِ وَشُونَمَ

And their border was toward Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

19 و َحَفارايِمَ وَشِيئُونَ وَأناحَرَةَ

And Haphraim, and Shihon, and Anaharath,

20 و َرَبِّيتَ وَقِشْيُونَ وَآبَصَ

And Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,

21 و َرَمَةَ وَعَينَ جَنِّيمَ وَعَينَ حِدَّةَ وَبَيتَ فَصِّيْصَ.

And Remeth, and Engannim, and Enhaddah, and Bethpazzez;

22 و َيُلامِسُ حَدُّهُمْ تابُورَ وَشَحْصِيمَةَ وَبَيْتَ شَمسٍ. وَيَنتَهِي حَدُّهُمْ عِندَ نَهرِ الأُردُنِّ. وَمَجمُوعُ مُدُنَهِمْ سِتَّ عَشرَةَ مَدِينَةً مَعَ قُراها.

And the coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Bethshemesh; and the outgoings of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

23 ه َذا هُوَ مِيراثُ عَشائِرِ قَبِيلَةِ يسّاكِرَ، وَهَذِهِ هِيَ مُدُنُهُمْ مَعَ قُراها. أرْضُ أشَير

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.

24 و َكانَت القُرْعةُ الخامسةُ لِعَشِيرَةِ أشِيرَ بحَسَبِ عشائرها.

And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

25 ف َكانَتْ أرْضُهُمْ تَضُمُّ المُدُنَ التّالِيَةَ: حَلْقَةَ وَحَلِيَ وَباطَنَ وَأكشافَ،

And their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,

26 و َاَلَّمَّلَكَ وَعَمْعادَ وَمِشْآلَ. وَفِي الغَربِ، كانَ حَدُّهُمْ يُلامِسُ الكَرْمَلَ وَشِيحُورَ لِبْنَةَ،

And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reacheth to Carmel westward, and to Shihorlibnath;

27 ث ُمَّ يَتَّجِهُ شَرْقاً إلَى بَيتِ داجُونَ، ثُمَّ يُلامِسُ زَبُولُونَ وَوادِي يَفْتَحْئِيلَ. ثُمَّ يَتَّجِهُ إلَى الشِّمالِ نَحوَ بَيْتَ عامِقَ وَنَعِيئِيلَ. ثُمَّ يُكمِلُ إلَى الشِّمالِ إلَى كابُولَ.

And turneth toward the sunrising to Bethdagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthahel toward the north side of Bethemek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,

28 و َكَذَلِكَ يَشْمَلُ عَبْدُونَ وَرَحُوبَ وَحَمُّونَ وَقانَةَ، وَإلَى صِيدُونَ العَظِيمَةِ.

And Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even unto great Zidon;

29 ث ُمَّ يَعُودُ الحَدُّ إلَى الرّامَةِ، وَيَصِلُ إلَى صُورَ، المَدِينَةِ المُحَصَّنَةِ. ثُمَّ يَعُودُ الحَدُّ إلَى حُوصَةَ، وَيَنتَهِي عِندَ البَحرِ. وَتَشْمَلُ أرْضُهُمْ أِيضاً المُدُنَ التّالِيَةَ: مَهالابَ وَأكْزِيبَ،

And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:

30 و َعُمَّةَ وَأفِيقَ وَرَحُوبَ. وَمَجمُوعُ مُدُنِهِمِ اثنَتانِ وَعِشْرُونَ مَدِينَةً.

Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty and two cities with their villages.

31 ه َذا هُوَ مِيراثُ عَشائِرِ أشِيرَ، وَهَذِهِ هِيَ مُدُنُهُمْ مَعَ قُراها. أرْضُ نَفْتالِي

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

32 و َكانت القُرْعةُ السادِسةُ لِقَبِيلَةِ نَفتالِي بِحَسَبِ عشائرِها.

The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

33 و َكانَ حَدُّهُمْ مِنْ حالِفَ إلَى شَجَرَةِ البَلُّوطِ فِي صَعَنَنِّيمَ إلَى أدامِي ناقِبُ وَيَبْنِيئِيلَ إلَى لَقُّومَ. وَيَنتَهِي الحَدُّ عِنْدَ نَهْرِ الأُردُنِّ.

And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan:

34 و َيَدُورُ الحَدُّ فِي الغَربِ عِنْدَ أزْنُوتِ تابُورَ. وَمِنْ هُناكَ يَتَجِهُ إلَى حُقُّوقَ، وَيُلامِسُ زَبُولُونَ فِي الجَنُوبِ، وَأشِيرَ فِي الغَربِ، وَنَهْرَ الأُردُنِّ فِي الشَّرقِ.

And then the coast turneth westward to Aznothtabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising.

35 و َمُدُنُهُمُ الحَصِينَةُ هِيَ: صِدِّيمُ وَصَيرُ وَحَمَّةُ وَرَقَّةُ وَكِنّارَةُ،

And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

36 و َأدَمَةُ وَالرّامَةُ وَحاصُورُ،

And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

37 و َقادَشُ وَإذْرَعِي وَعَينُ حاصُورَ،

And Kedesh, and Edrei, and Enhazor,

38 و َيِرْأُونُ وَمَجْدَلُ إيلَ وَحُورِيمُ وَبَيْتُ عَناةَ وَبَيتُ شَمسٍ. وَمَجمُوعِ المُدُنِ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ مَدِينَةً مَعَ قُراها.

And Iron, and Migdalel, Horem, and Bethanath, and Bethshemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

39 ه َذا هُوَ مِيراثُ عَشائِرِ قَبِيلَةِ نَفْتالِي، وَهَذِهِ هِيَ مُدُنُهُمْ وَقُراهُمْ. أرْضُ دان

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.

40 و َكانَتِ القُرْعةُ السّابِعَةُ لِعَشِيرَةِ دانَ بحسَبِ عَشائِرِها.

And the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

41 و َكانَتْ أرْضُهُمْ تَشْمَلُ المُدُنَ التّالِيَةَ: صَرْعَةَ وَأشتَأُولَ وَعِيرَ شَمسٍ،

And the coast of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Irshemesh,

42 و َشَعلَبِّينَ وَأيَّلُونَ وَيِتلَةَ،

And Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,

43 و َإيلُونَ وَتِمْنَةَ وَعَقْرُونَ،

And Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,

44 و َإلْتَقَيهَ وَجِبَّثُونَ وَبَعلَةَ،

And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

45 و َيَهُودَ وَبَنِي بَرْقَ وَجَتَّ رِمُّونَ،

And Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gathrimmon,

46 و َمَيَرْقُوْنَ وَرَقُّونَ وَالمِنطَقَةَ المُجاوِرَةَ لِيافا.

And Mejarkon, and Rakkon, with the border before Japho.

47 و َحِينَ فَقَدَ شَعبُ دانَ أرْضَهُمْ، صَعِدَتْ قَبِيلَةُ دانَ وَحارَبَتْ لَشَمَ وَاستَولَتْ عَلَيها وَقَتَلَتْ شَعبَها وَامتَلَكَتْها وَاستَقَرَّتْ فِيها. وَدَعُوها «دانَ» كاسْمِ جَدِّهِمْ.

And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

48 ه َذا هُوَ مِيراثُ عَشائِرِ قَبِيلَةِ دانَ، وَهَذِهِ هِيَ مُدُنُهُمْ وَقُراها. أرْضُ يَشُوع

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

49 و َحِينَ انتَهُوا مِنْ تَقسِيمِ الأرْضِ حَسَبَ حُدُودِها، أعطَى بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ يَشُوعَ بْنَ نُونَ أرْضاً فِي وَسَطِهِمْ.

When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:

50 و َبِحَسَبِ أمرِ اللهِ أعطُوهُ المَدِينَةَ الَّتِي طَلَبَها، وَهِيَ تِمْنَةُ سارَحَ الَّتِي فِي مِنْطَقَةِ أفْرايِمَ الجَبَلِيَّةِ، فَأعادَ بِناءَها وَسَكَنَ فَيها.

According to the word of the Lord they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.

51 ه َذِهِ هِيَ الحِصَصُ الَّتِي قَسَمَها ألِعازَرُ الكاهِنُ وَيَشُوعُ بْنُ نُونَ وَقادَةُ قَبائِلِ إسْرائِيلَ بِالقُرعَةِ فِي شِيلُوهَ فِي حَضْرَةِ اللهِ عِندَ مَدْخَلِ خَيمَةِ الاجْتِماعِ. وَانتَهُوا مِنْ تَقسِيمِ الأرْضِ.

These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
