1 م ِنْ بُولُسَ الَّذِي هُوَ رَسُولٌ لا مِنَ النّاسِ، وَلا تَعَيَّنَ بِواسِطَةِ إنسانٍ، بَلْ مِنْ يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ، وَمِنَ اللهِ الآبِ الَّذِي أقامَهُ مِنَ المَوتِ.

Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

2 و َمِنْ كُلِّ الإخوَةِ الَّذِينَ مَعِي، إلَى الكَنائِسِ الَّتِي فِي مُقاطَعَةِ غَلاطِيَّةَ.

And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

3 ل ِتَكُنْ لَكُمْ نِعمَةٌ وَسَلامٌ مِنَ اللهِ أبِينا، وَمِنَ الرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ.

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

4 ف َهُوَ الَّذِي قَدَّمَ نَفسَهُ لِكَي يَرفَعَ عَنّا خَطايانا، وَيُحَرِّرَنا مِنْ هَذا العالَمِ الشِّرِّيرِ الَّذِي نَعِيشُ فِيهِ. وَذَلِكَ بِحَسَبِ إرادَةِ اللهِ أبِينا.

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

5 ل َهُ المَجدُ إلَى أبَدِ الآبِدِينَ. آمِينْ. بِشارَةٌ حَقِيقِيَّةٌ واحِدَة

To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

6 إ نِّي مُندَهِشٌ لِأنَّكُمْ تَتَخَلُّونَ سَرِيعاً عَنِ اللهِ الَّذِي دَعاكُمْ بِنِعْمَةِ المَسِيحِ، وَتَتَحَوَّلُونَ إلَى بِشارَةٍ أُخْرَى.

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

7 م َعَ أنَّهُ لَيسَ هُناكَ بِشارَةٌ أُخْرَى، لَكِنْ هُناكَ أشخاصٌ يُربِكُونَكُمْ، وَيُحاوِلُونَ أنْ يُشَوِّهُوا بِشارَةَ المَسِيحِ.

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

8 و َلَكِنْ حَتَّى إنْ جِئْنا نَحْنُ، أوْ مَلاكٌ مِنَ السَّماءِ، وَبَشَّرْناكُمْ بِبِشارَةٍ أُخْرَى تَختَلِفُ عَنِ البِشارَةِ الَّتِي بَشَّرْناكُمْ بِها، فَلْيَكُنْ مَنْ بَشَّرَكُمْ مَلعُوناً.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9 و َكَما قُلْنا سابِقاً، أقُولُ لَكُمُ الآنَ ثانِيَةً: إنْ بَشَّرَكُمْ أحَدٌ بِبِشارَةٍ تَخْتَلِفُ عَنِ الَّتِي قَبِلْتُمُوها، فَلْيَكُنْ مَلعُوناً.

As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

10 أ تَظُنُّونَ أنَّنِي أُحاوِلُ بِكَلامي هَذا أنْ أربَحَ تَأْيِيدَ النّاسِ أمْ تَأْيِيدَ اللهِ؟ أوْ هَلْ أُرِيدُ أنْ أُرضِيَ النّاسَ؟ لَو كُنْتُ أُرِيدُ أنْ أُرضِيَ النّاسَ، لَما كُنْتُ خادِماً لِلمَسِيحِ. سُلْطانُ بُولُسَ مِنَ الله

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

11 أ يُّها الإخوَةُ، أُرِيدُكُمْ أنْ تَعرِفُوا أنَّ البِشارَةَ الَّتِي بَشَّرْتُكُمْ بِها لَيسَتْ مِنْ مَصْدَرٍ بَشَرِيٍّ.

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

12 ف َأنا لَمْ آخُذْها مِنْ إنسانٍ، وَلَمْ يُعَلِّمْنِي إيّاها إنسانٌ، وَلَكِنَّ يَسُوعَ المَسِيحَ كَشَفَها لِي.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

13 ق َدْ سَمِعْتُمْ عَنْ سِيرَةِ حَياتِي السّابِقَةِ عِندَما كُنْتُ يَهُودِيّاً. وَتَعلَمُونَ بِأنِّي أسَأْتُ إلَى كَنِيسَةِ اللهِ بِقَسْوَةٍ، وَحاوَلْتُ أنْ أُدَمِّرَها.

For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

14 و َقَدْ كُنْتُ مُتَفَوِّقاً عَلَى كُلِّ مَنْ كانوا فِي مِثلِ عُمْرِي مِنَ اليَهُودِ، لِأنِّي كُنْتُ أكثَرَ إخلاصاً مِنْهُمْ لِتَقالِيدِ الآباءِ.

And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

15 ل َكِنَّ اللهَ اختارَنِي قَبلَ أنْ أُولَدَ، وَدَعانِي بِالنِّعمَةِ إلَى خِدْمَتِهِ.

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

16 و َلَمّا قَرَّرَ أنْ يُعلِنَ لِي ابْنَهُ، لِكَي أُبَشِّرَ بِهِ بَينَ غَيرِ اليَهُودِ، لَمْ أستَشِرْ إنساناً،

To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

17 و َلَمْ أذهَبْ إلَى مَدينَةِ القُدْسِ لِأُقابِلَ الرُّسُلَ الَّذِينَ كانُوا قَبلِي، بَلْ ذَهَبْتُ فَوراً إلَى أرْضِ العَرَبِ، ثُمَّ عُدْتُ إلَى دِمَشْقَ.

Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.

18 و َبَعْدَ ثَلاثِ سَنَواتٍ، ذَهَبْتُ إلَى القُدْسِ لِأتَعَرَّفَ بِبُطرُسَ، وَأقَمْتُ عِندَهُ أُسبُوعَينِ.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

19 و َلَمْ أرَ رَسُولاً آخَرَ سِوَى يَعقُوبَ أخِي الرَّبِّ.

But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.

20 ي َشْهَدُ اللهُ عَلَى أنِّي لا أكذِبُ فِيما أكتُبُهُ.

Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

21 ب َعْدَ ذَلِكَ جِئْتُ إلَى بِلادِ سُورِيَّةَ وَكِيلِيكِيَّةَ.

Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;

22 و َلَمْ أكُنْ مَعرُوفاً لَدَى كَنائِسِ المَسيحِ الواقِعَةِ فِي إقليمِ اليَهُودِيَّةِ.

And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:

23 ل َكِنَّهُمْ كانُوا يَسْمَعُونَ النّاسَ يَقُولُونَ: «إنَّ الَّذِي كانَ يُسِيئُ إلَينا سابِقاً، يُبَشِّرُ الآنَ بِالإيمانِ الَّذِي حاوَلَ أنْ يُدَمِّرَهُ!»

But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

24 ف َكانُوا يُمَجِّدُونَ اللهَ بِسَبَبِي.

And they glorified God in me.
