1 G ive the king thy judgments, O God, And thy righteousness unto the king's son.

Give the king Your judgments, O God, And Your righteousness to the king’s son.

2 H e will judge thy people with righteousness, And thy poor with justice.

May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice.

3 T he mountains shall bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.

Let the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.

4 H e will judge the poor of the people, He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.

May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor.

5 T hey shall fear thee while the sun endureth, And so long as the moon, throughout all generations.

Let them fear You while the sun endures, And as long as the moon, throughout all generations.

6 H e will come down like rain upon the mown grass, As showers that water the earth.

May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth.

7 I n his days shall the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.

In his days may the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace till the moon is no more.

8 H e shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River unto the ends of the earth.

May he also rule from sea to sea And from the River to the ends of the earth.

9 T hey that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; And his enemies shall lick the dust.

Let the nomads of the desert bow before him, And his enemies lick the dust.

10 T he kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute: The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

Let the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.

11 Y ea, all kings shall fall down before him; All nations shall serve him.

And let all kings bow down before him, All nations serve him.

12 F or he will deliver the needy when he crieth, And the poor, that hath no helper.

For he will deliver the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper.

13 H e will have pity on the poor and needy, And the souls of the needy he will save.

He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save.

14 H e will redeem their soul from oppression and violence; And precious will their blood be in his sight:

He will rescue their life from oppression and violence, And their blood will be precious in his sight;

15 A nd they shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: And men shall pray for him continually; They shall bless him all the day long.

So may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him; And let them pray for him continually; Let them bless him all day long.

16 T here shall be abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; The fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: And they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

May there be abundance of grain in the earth on top of the mountains; Its fruit will wave like the cedars of Lebanon; And may those from the city flourish like vegetation of the earth.

17 H is name shall endure for ever; His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in him; All nations shall call him happy.

May his name endure forever; May his name increase as long as the sun shines; And let men bless themselves by him; Let all nations call him blessed.

18 B lessed be Jehovah God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things:

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone works wonders.

19 A nd blessed be his glorious name for ever; And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and Amen.

And blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen.
