1 O f the blue, purple, and scarlet thread they made garments of ministry, for ministering in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord had commanded Moses. Making the Ephod
And of the blue and purple and scarlet they made garments of service, for service in the sanctuary, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
2 H e made the ephod of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and of fine woven linen.
And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus.
3 A nd they beat the gold into thin sheets and cut it into threads, to work it in with the blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and the fine linen, into artistic designs.
And they beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it wires, to work it artistically into the blue, and into the purple, and into the scarlet, and into the byssus.
4 T hey made shoulder straps for it to couple it together; it was coupled together at its two edges.
They made shoulder-pieces for it, joining it: at its two ends was it joined together.
5 A nd the intricately woven band of his ephod that was on it was of the same workmanship, woven of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and of fine woven linen, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
And the girdle of his ephod, which was on it, was of the same, according to its work, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
6 A nd they set onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold; they were engraved, as signets are engraved, with the names of the sons of Israel.
And they wrought the onyx stones mounted in enclosures of gold, engraved with the engravings of a seal, according to the names of the sons of Israel.
7 H e put them on the shoulders of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses. Making the Breastplate
And he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, stones of memorial for the children of Israel; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
8 A nd he made the breastplate, artistically woven like the workmanship of the ephod, of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and of fine woven linen.
And he made the breastplate of artistic work, like the work of the ephod, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus.
9 T hey made the breastplate square by doubling it; a span was its length and a span its width when doubled.
It was square; double did they make the breastplate, a span the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, doubled.
10 A nd they set in it four rows of stones: a row with a sardius, a topaz, and an emerald was the first row;

11 t he second row, a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond;
and the second row, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a diamond;
12 t he third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;

13 t he fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in settings of gold in their mountings.

14 T here were twelve stones according to the names of the sons of Israel: according to their names, engraved like a signet, each one with its own name according to the twelve tribes.

15 A nd they made chains for the breastplate at the ends, like braided cords of pure gold.
And they made on the breastplate chains of laced work of wreathen work, of pure gold.
16 T hey also made two settings of gold and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

17 A nd they put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.

19 A nd they made two rings of gold and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on the edge of it, which was on the inward side of the ephod.
And they made two rings of gold, and put on the two ends of the breastplate, on the border thereof, which faceth the ephod inwards.
20 T hey made two other gold rings and put them on the two shoulder straps, underneath the ephod toward its front, right at the seam above the intricately woven band of the ephod.
And they made two rings of gold, and put them upon the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, to the front thereof, just by the coupling thereof, above the girdle of the ephod.
21 A nd they bound the breastplate by means of its rings to the rings of the ephod with a blue cord, so that it would be above the intricately woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate would not come loose from the ephod, as the Lord had commanded Moses. Making the Other Priestly Garments
And they bound the breastplate with its rings to the rings of the ephod with lace of blue, that it might be above the girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
22 H e made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
And he made the cloak of the ephod of woven work, all of blue;
23 A nd there was an opening in the middle of the robe, like the opening in a coat of mail, with a woven binding all around the opening, so that it would not tear.
and the opening of the cloak in its middle, as the opening of a coat of mail; a binding was round about the opening, that it should not rend.
24 T hey made on the hem of the robe pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet, and of fine woven linen.
And they made on the skirts of the cloak pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet, twined.
25 A nd they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates on the hem of the robe all around between the pomegranates:

26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, all around the hem of the robe to minister in, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

27 T hey made tunics, artistically woven of fine linen, for Aaron and his sons,
And they made the vests of byssus of woven work, for Aaron, and for his sons;
28 a turban of fine linen, exquisite hats of fine linen, short trousers of fine woven linen,
and the turban of byssus; and the ornamental caps, of byssus; and the linen trousers, of twined byssus;
29 a nd a sash of fine woven linen with blue, purple, and scarlet thread, made by a weaver, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
and the girdle, of twined byssus, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of embroidery; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
30 T hen they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote on it an inscription like the engraving of a signet: HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
And they made the thin plate, the holy diadem, of pure gold, and wrote on it with the writing of the engravings of a seal, Holiness to Jehovah!
31 A nd they tied to it a blue cord, to fasten it above on the turban, as the Lord had commanded Moses. The Work Completed
And they fastened to it a lace of blue, to fasten on the turban above; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
32 T hus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished. And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses; so they did.
And all the labour of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was ended; and the children of Israel had done according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses—so had they done.
33 A nd they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its furnishings: its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets;

34 t he covering of ram skins dyed red, the covering of badger skins, and the veil of the covering;

the copper altar, and the copper grating that was for it, its staves and all its utensils; the laver and its stand;
40 t he hangings of the court, its pillars and its sockets, the screen for the court gate, its cords, and its pegs; all the utensils for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;
the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases; and the curtain for the gate of the court, its cords, and its pegs; and all the vessel's of service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;
41 a nd the garments of ministry, to minister in the holy place: the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons’ garments, to minister as priests.

42 A ccording to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work.

43 T hen Moses looked over all the work, and indeed they had done it; as the Lord had commanded, just so they had done it. And Moses blessed them.
And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it as Jehovah had commanded—so had they done; and Moses blessed them.
