1 M ake a joyful shout to God, all the earth!
Shout aloud unto God, all the earth:
2 S ing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious.

3 S ay to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.
Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! because of the greatness of thy strength, thine enemies come cringing unto thee.
4 A ll the earth shall worship You And sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name.” Selah

5 C ome and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men.

8 O h, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise to be heard,

9 W ho keeps our soul among the living, And does not allow our feet to be moved.
Who hath set our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
10 F or You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined.
For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
11 Y ou brought us into the net; You laid affliction on our backs.
Thou broughtest us into a net, thou didst lay a heavy burden upon our loins;
12 Y ou have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.

13 I will go into Your house with burnt offerings; I will pay You my vows,
I will go into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will perform my vows to thee,
14 W hich my lips have uttered And my mouth has spoken when I was in trouble.

15 I will offer You burnt sacrifices of fat animals, With the sweet aroma of rams; I will offer bulls with goats. Selah

16 C ome and hear, all you who fear God, And I will declare what He has done for my soul.
Come, hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
17 I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue.
I called unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
18 I f I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear.
Had I regarded iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear.
19 B ut certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
But God hath heard; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 B lessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!
Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his loving-kindness from me!
