1 T he earth is the Lord ’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.

A Psalm of David. To Jehovah the earth and its fulness, The world and the inhabitants in it.

2 F or He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters.

For He on the seas hath founded it, And on the floods He doth establish it.

3 W ho may ascend into the hill of the Lord ? Or who may stand in His holy place?

Who goeth up into the hill of Jehovah? And who riseth up in His holy place?

4 H e who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.

The clean of hands, and pure of heart, Who hath not lifted up to vanity his soul, Nor hath sworn to deceit.

5 H e shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

He beareth away a blessing from Jehovah, Righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 T his is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah

This a generation of those seeking Him. Seeking Thy face, O Jacob! Selah.

7 L ift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.

Lift up, O gates, your heads, And be lifted up, O doors age-during, And come in doth the king of glory!

8 W ho is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.

Who this -- `the king of glory?' Jehovah -- strong and mighty, Jehovah, the mighty in battle.

9 L ift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.

Lift up, O gates, your heads, And be lifted up, O doors age-during, And come in doth the king of glory!

10 W ho is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah
