1 I t is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

2 A nd ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

3 F or I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

4 I n the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

6 Y our glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

Faankiinnu ma wanaagsana. Miyeydnaan garanaynin in in yar oo khamiir ah ay cajiinka oo dhan khamiiriso?

7 P urge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Khamiirkii hore iska safeeya inaad noqotaan cajiin cusub sidii idinkoo aan khamiirsanayn. Waayo, Masiixa ah Kormariddeenna waa la sadqeeyey.

8 T herefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Haddaba yeynan ku iidin khamiirkii hore ama khamiirka xumaanta iyo sharka, laakiin aan ku iidno kibista khamiirka la' ee daacadda iyo runta ah.

9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

Waxaan warqaddaydii idiinku soo qoray inaydnaan kuwa sinaysta raacin.

10 Y et not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

Ulama jeedo kuwa sinaysta ee dunidan, iyo kuwa damaca badan iyo kuwa wax dulma, iyo kuwa sanamka caabuda, waayo, hadday sidaas tahay waxay noqon lahayd inaad dunida ka baxdaan.

11 B ut now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

Laakiin hadda waxaan idiin soo qoray, Ha raacina qof walaal la yidhaahdo hadduu sinaysto, ama wax badan damco, ama sanam caabudo, ama wax caayo, ama sakhraamo, ama wax dulmo. Waa inaydnaan kaasoo kale xataa wax la cunin.

12 F or what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

Waayo, maxaa iigu jira inaan xukumo kuwa dibadda ah? Idinku miyeydnaan xukumin kuwa gudaha ku jira?

13 B ut them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Kuwa dibadda ah Ilaah baa xukuma. Idinkuse kan sharka leh dhexdiinna ka saara.
