1 T hen said the Lord unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

耶 和 華 對 我 說 ： 雖 有 摩 西 和 撒 母 耳 站 在 我 面 前 代 求 ， 我 的 心 也 不 顧 惜 這 百 姓 。 你 將 他 們 從 我 眼 前 趕 出 ， 叫 他 們 去 罷 ！

2 A nd it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the Lord; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.

他 們 問 你 說 ： 我 們 往 哪 裡 去 呢 ？ 你 便 告 訴 他 們 ， 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 定 為 死 亡 的 ， 必 致 死 亡 ； 定 為 刀 殺 的 ， 必 交 刀 殺 ； 定 為 饑 荒 的 ， 必 遭 饑 荒 ； 定 為 擄 掠 的 ， 必 被 擄 掠 。

3 A nd I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the Lord: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.

耶 和 華 說 ： 我 命 定 四 樣 害 他 們 ， 就 是 刀 劍 殺 戮 、 狗 類 撕 裂 、 空 中 的 飛 鳥 ， 和 地 上 的 野 獸 吞 吃 毀 滅 ；

4 A nd I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.

又 必 使 他 們 在 天 下 萬 國 中 拋 來 拋 去 ， 都 因 猶 大 王 希 西 家 的 兒 子 瑪 拿 西 在 耶 路 撒 冷 所 行 的 事 。

5 F or who shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask how thou doest?

耶 路 撒 冷 啊 ， 誰 可 憐 你 呢 ？ 誰 為 你 悲 傷 呢 ？ 誰 轉 身 問 你 的 安 呢 ？

6 T hou hast forsaken me, saith the Lord, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.

耶 和 華 說 ： 你 棄 絕 了 我 ， 轉 身 退 後 ； 因 此 我 伸 手 攻 擊 你 ， 毀 壞 你 。 我 後 悔 甚 不 耐 煩 。

7 A nd I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people since they return not from their ways.

我 在 境 內 各 城 門 口 （ 或 譯 ： 我 在 這 地 邊 界 的 關 口 ） ， 用 簸 箕 簸 了 我 的 百 姓 ， 使 他 們 喪 掉 兒 女 。 我 毀 滅 他 們 ， 他 們 仍 不 轉 離 所 行 的 道 。

8 T heir widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.

他 們 的 寡 婦 在 我 面 前 比 海 沙 更 多 ； 我 使 滅 命 的 午 間 來 ， 攻 擊 少 年 人 的 母 親 ， 使 痛 苦 驚 嚇 忽 然 臨 到 他 身 上 。

9 S he that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the Lord.

生 過 七 子 的 婦 人 力 衰 氣 絕 ； 尚 在 白 晝 ， 日 頭 忽 落 ； 他 抱 愧 蒙 羞 。 其 餘 的 人 ， 我 必 在 他 們 敵 人 跟 前 ， 交 與 刀 劍 。 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。

10 W oe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me.

我 的 母 親 哪 ， 我 有 禍 了 ！ 因 你 生 我 作 為 遍 地 相 爭 相 競 的 人 。 我 素 來 沒 有 借 貸 與 人 ， 人 也 沒 有 借 貸 與 我 ， 人 人 卻 都 咒 罵 我 。

11 T he Lord said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

耶 和 華 說 ： 我 必 要 堅 固 你 ， 使 你 得 好 處 。 災 禍 苦 難 臨 到 的 時 候 ， 我 必 要 使 仇 敵 央 求 你 。

12 S hall iron break the northern iron and the steel?

（ 人 豈 能 將 銅 與 鐵 ， 就 是 北 方 的 鐵 折 斷 呢 ？ ）

13 T hy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.

我 必 因 你 在 四 境 之 內 所 犯 的 一 切 罪 ， 把 你 的 貨 物 財 寶 當 掠 物 ， 白 白 地 交 給 仇 敵 。

14 A nd I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you.

我 也 必 使 仇 敵 帶 這 掠 物 到 你 所 不 認 識 的 地 去 ， 因 我 怒 中 起 的 火 要 將 你 們 焚 燒 。

15 O Lord, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.

耶 和 華 啊 ， 你 是 知 道 的 ； 求 你 記 念 我 ， 眷 顧 我 ， 向 逼 迫 我 的 人 為 我 報 仇 ； 不 要 向 他 們 忍 怒 取 我 的 命 ， 要 知 道 我 為 你 的 緣 故 受 了 凌 辱 。

16 T hy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.

耶 和 華 ─ 萬 軍 之 神 啊 ， 我 得 著 你 的 言 語 就 當 食 物 吃 了 ； 你 的 言 語 是 我 心 中 的 歡 喜 快 樂 ， 因 我 是 稱 為 你 名 下 的 人 。

17 I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.

我 沒 有 坐 在 宴 樂 人 的 會 中 ， 也 沒 有 歡 樂 ； 我 因 你 的 感 動 （ 原 文 是 手 ） 獨 自 靜 坐 ， 因 你 使 我 滿 心 憤 恨 。

18 W hy is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?

我 的 痛 苦 為 何 長 久 不 止 呢 ？ 我 的 傷 痕 為 何 無 法 醫 治 、 不 能 痊 愈 呢 ？ 難 道 你 待 我 有 詭 詐 ， 像 流 乾 的 河 道 麼 ？

19 T herefore thus saith the Lord, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.

耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 你 若 歸 回 ， 我 就 將 你 再 帶 來 ， 使 你 站 在 我 面 前 ； 你 若 將 寶 貴 的 和 下 賤 的 分 別 出 來 ， 你 就 可 以 當 作 我 的 口 。 他 們 必 歸 向 你 ， 你 卻 不 可 歸 向 他 們 。

20 A nd I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the Lord.

我 必 使 你 向 這 百 姓 成 為 堅 固 的 銅 牆 ； 他 們 必 攻 擊 你 ， 卻 不 能 勝 你 ； 因 我 與 你 同 在 ， 要 拯 救 你 ， 搭 救 你 。 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。

21 A nd I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.

我 必 搭 救 你 脫 離 惡 人 的 手 ， 救 贖 你 脫 離 強 暴 人 的 手 。
