2 Corinthians 13 ~ 2 Corinthians 13

1 T his third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every matter be established.

Hei tuatoru tenei mo oku haerenga atu ki a koutou.

2 I have declared beforehand, and I say beforehand as present the second time, and now absent, to those that have sinned before, and to all the rest, that if I come again I will not spare.

Kua korero ano ahau i mua, ka korero ano inaianei, pera i te tuarua o oku wa i kona, a i ahau e ngaro mai nei, ki te hunga i hara i mua, ki era katoa ano hoki, na, ki te tae atu ano ahau, e kore e tohungia e ahau;

3 S ince ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, (who is not weak towards you, but is powerful among you,

E rapu tohu na hoki koutou o te Karaiti e korero ana i roto i ahau; kahore nei ia e ngoikore ki a koutou, engari e kaha ana i roto i a koutou:

4 f or if indeed he has been crucified in weakness, yet he lives by God's power; for indeed we are weak in him, but we shall live with him by God's power towards you,)

5 e xamine your own selves if ye be in the faith; prove your own selves: do ye not recognise yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you, unless indeed ye be reprobates?

Whakamatauria iho koutou ano, mehemea ranei koutou kei roto i te whakapono; tirohia iho o koutou tohu e koutou ano. Tena ranei kahore koutou e matau ana ki a koutou ano, kei roto i a koutou a Ihu Karaiti? ki te mea ia ehara koutou i te mea akiri.

6 N ow I hope that ye will know that we are not reprobates.

Otira e u ana toku whakaaro, e matau ana ano koutou, ehara matou i te mea akiri.

7 B ut we pray to God that ye may do nothing evil; not that we may appear approved, but that ye may do what is right, and we be as reprobates.

Na, ko ta matou inoi tenei ki te Atua, kia kaua koutou e mea i tetahi kino; ehara i te mea mo matou kia kitea e paingia ana, engari mo koutou kia mahi i te pai, ahakoa ko matou hei mea akiri.

8 F or we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

E kore hoki e taea e matou tetahi mea e he ai te pono, engari te mea e u ai te pono.

9 F or we rejoice when we may be weak and ye may be powerful. But this also we pray for, your perfecting.

E hari ana hoki matou ina ngoikore matou, ina kaha koutou: ko ta matou hoki tenei e inoi nei, ko koutou kia tino tika.

10 O n this account I write these things being absent, that being present I may not use severity according to the authority which the Lord has given me for building up, and not for overthrowing.

Koia ahau ka tuhituhi atu nei i enei mea, i ahau e ngaro mai nei, kei tae atu ahau ki kona, ka koi taku i runga i te mana kua tukua mai nei e te Ariki ki ahau hei hanga mo te whare, ehara i te mea hei wahi.

11 F or the rest, brethren, rejoice; be perfected; be encouraged; be of one mind; be at peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

12 S alute one another with a holy kiss.

13 A ll the saints salute you.

14 T he grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, with you all.

Amine.
