1 U nto thee, O Jehovah, do I lift up my soul.

2 O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

3 Y ea, none that wait for thee shall be put to shame: They shall be put to shame that deal treacherously without cause.
Also let none waiting on Thee be ashamed, Let the treacherous dealers without cause be ashamed.
4 S how me thy ways, O Jehovah; Teach me thy paths.
Thy ways, O Jehovah, cause me to know, Thy paths teach Thou me.
5 G uide me in thy truth, and teach me; For thou art the God of my salvation; For thee do I wait all the day.
Cause me to tread in Thy truth, and teach me, For Thou the God of my salvation, Near Thee I have waited all the day.
6 R emember, O Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindness; For they have been ever of old.
Remember Thy mercies, O Jehovah, And Thy kindnesses, for from the age they.
7 R emember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: According to thy lovingkindness remember thou me, For thy goodness' sake, O Jehovah.
Sins of my youth, and my transgressions, Do not Thou remember. According to Thy kindness be mindful of me, For Thy goodness' sake, O Jehovah.
8 G ood and upright is Jehovah: Therefore will he instruct sinners in the way.
Good and upright Jehovah, Therefore He directeth sinners in the way.
9 T he meek will he guide in justice; And the meek will he teach his way.
He causeth the humble to tread in judgment, And teacheth the humble His way.
10 A ll the paths of Jehovah are lovingkindness and truth Unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
All the paths of Jehovah kindness and truth, To those keeping His covenant, And His testimonies.
11 F or thy name's sake, O Jehovah, Pardon mine iniquity, for it is great.
For Thy name's sake, O Jehovah, Thou hast pardoned mine iniquity, for it great.
12 W hat man is he that feareth Jehovah? Him shall he instruct in the way that he shall choose.
Who this -- the man fearing Jehovah? He directeth him in the way He doth choose.
13 H is soul shall dwell at ease; And his seed shall inherit the land.
His soul in good doth remain, And his seed doth possess the land.
14 T he friendship of Jehovah is with them that fear him; And he will show them his covenant.
The secret of Jehovah for those fearing Him, And His covenant -- to cause them to know.
15 M ine eyes are ever toward Jehovah; For he will pluck my feet out of the net.
Mine eyes continually unto Jehovah, For He bringeth out from a net my feet.
16 T urn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; For I am desolate and afflicted.
Turn Thou unto me, and favour me, For lonely and afflicted I.
17 T he troubles of my heart are enlarged: Oh bring thou me out of my distresses.
The distresses of my heart have enlarged themselves, From my distresses bring me out.
18 C onsider mine affliction and my travail; And forgive all my sins.
See mine affliction and my misery, And bear with all my sins.
19 C onsider mine enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.
See my enemies, for they have been many, And with violent hatred they have hated me.
20 O h keep my soul, and deliver me: Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in thee.
Keep my soul, and deliver me, Let me not be ashamed, for I trusted in Thee.
21 L et integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for thee.
Integrity and uprightness do keep me, For I have waited Thee.
22 R edeem Israel, O God, Out all of his troubles.
Redeem Israel, O God, from all his distresses!
