1 S o king Solomon was king over all Israel.

所 羅 門 作 以 色 列 眾 人 的 王 。

2 A nd these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,

他 的 臣 子 記 在 下 面 ： 撒 督 的 兒 子 亞 撒 利 雅 作 祭 司 ，

3 E lihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

示 沙 的 兩 個 兒 子 以 利 何 烈 、 亞 希 亞 作 書 記 ， 亞 希 律 的 兒 子 約 沙 法 作 史 官 ，

4 A nd Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:

耶 何 耶 大 的 兒 子 比 拿 雅 作 元 帥 ， 撒 督 和 亞 比 亞 他 作 祭 司 長 ，

5 a nd Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king’s friend:

拿 單 的 兒 子 亞 撒 利 雅 作 眾 吏 長 ， 王 的 朋 友 拿 單 的 兒 子 撒 布 得 作 領 袖 ，

6 a nd Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

亞 希 煞 作 家 宰 ， 亞 比 大 的 兒 子 亞 多 尼 蘭 掌 管 服 苦 的 人 。

7 A nd Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

所 羅 門 在 以 色 列 全 地 立 了 十 二 個 官 吏 ， 使 他 們 供 給 王 和 王 家 的 食 物 ， 每 年 各 人 供 給 一 月 。

8 A nd these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:

他 們 的 名 字 記 在 下 面 ： 在 以 法 蓮 山 地 有 便 戶 珥 ；

9   the son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-hanan:

在 瑪 迦 斯 、 沙 賓 、 伯 示 麥 、 以 倫 伯 哈 南 有 便 底 甲 ；

10   the son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:

在 亞 魯 泊 有 便 希 悉 ， 他 管 理 梭 哥 和 希 弗 全 地 ；

11   the son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

在 多 珥 山 岡 ( 或 作 全 境 ) 有 便 亞 比 拿 達 ， 他 娶 了 所 羅 門 的 女 兒 他 法 為 妻 ；

12 B aana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:

在 他 納 和 米 吉 多 ， 並 靠 近 撒 拉 他 拿 、 耶 斯 列 下 邊 的 伯 善 全 地 ， 從 伯 善 到 亞 伯 米 何 拉 直 到 約 念 之 外 ， 有 亞 希 律 的 兒 子 巴 拿 ；

13   the son of Geber, in Ramoth-gilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:

在 基 列 的 拉 末 有 便 基 別 ， 他 管 理 在 基 列 的 瑪 拿 西 子 孫 睚 珥 的 城 邑 ， 巴 珊 的 亞 珥 歌 伯 地 的 大 城 六 十 座 ， 都 有 城 牆 和 銅 閂 ；

14 A hinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:

在 瑪 哈 念 有 易 多 的 兒 子 亞 希 拿 達 ；

15 A himaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

在 拿 弗 他 利 有 亞 希 瑪 斯 ， 他 也 娶 了 所 羅 門 的 一 個 女 兒 巴 實 抹 為 妻 ；

16 B aanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:

在 亞 設 和 亞 祿 有 戶 篩 的 兒 子 巴 拿 ；

17 J ehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:

在 以 薩 迦 有 帕 路 亞 的 兒 子 約 沙 法 ；

18 S himei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:

在 便 雅 憫 有 以 拉 的 兒 子 示 每 ；

19 G eber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.

在 基 列 地 ， 就 是 從 前 屬 亞 摩 利 王 西 宏 和 巴 珊 王 噩 之 地 ， 有 烏 利 的 兒 子 基 別 一 人 管 理 。

20 J udah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.

猶 大 人 和 以 色 列 人 如 同 海 邊 的 沙 那 樣 多 ， 都 吃 喝 快 樂 。

21 A nd Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

所 羅 門 統 管 諸 國 ， 從 大 河 到 非 利 士 地 ， 直 到 埃 及 的 邊 界 。 所 羅 門 在 世 的 日 子 ， 這 些 國 都 進 貢 服 事 他 。

22 A nd Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,

所 羅 門 每 日 所 用 的 食 物 ： 細 麵 三 十 歌 珥 ， 粗 麵 六 十 歌 珥 ，

23 t en fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.

肥 牛 十 隻 ， 草 場 的 牛 二 十 隻 ， 羊 一 百 隻 ， 還 有 鹿 、 羚 羊 、 麃 子 ， 並 肥 禽 。

24 F or he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.

所 羅 門 管 理 大 河 西 邊 的 諸 王 ， 以 及 從 提 弗 薩 直 到 迦 薩 的 全 地 ， 四 境 盡 都 平 安 。

25 A nd Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

所 羅 門 在 世 的 日 子 ， 從 但 到 別 是 巴 的 猶 大 人 和 以 色 列 人 都 在 自 己 的 葡 萄 樹 下 和 無 花 果 樹 下 安 然 居 住 。

26 A nd Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

所 羅 門 有 套 車 的 馬 四 萬 ， 還 有 馬 兵 一 萬 二 千 。

27 A nd those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon’s table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.

那 十 二 個 官 吏 各 按 各 月 供 給 所 羅 門 王 ， 並 一 切 與 他 同 席 之 人 的 食 物 ， 一 無 所 缺 。

28 B arley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.

眾 人 各 按 各 分 ， 將 養 馬 與 快 馬 的 大 麥 和 乾 草 送 到 官 吏 那 裡 。

29 A nd God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.

神 賜 給 所 羅 門 極 大 的 智 慧 聰 明 和 廣 大 的 心 ， 如 同 海 沙 不 可 測 量 。

30 A nd Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

所 羅 門 的 智 慧 超 過 東 方 人 和 埃 及 人 的 一 切 智 慧 。

31 F or he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

他 的 智 慧 勝 過 萬 人 ， 勝 過 以 斯 拉 人 以 探 ， 並 瑪 曷 的 兒 子 希 幔 、 甲 各 、 達 大 的 智 慧 。 他 的 名 聲 傳 揚 在 四 圍 的 列 國 。

32 A nd he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.

他 作 箴 言 三 千 句 ， 詩 歌 一 千 零 五 首 。

33 A nd he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

他 講 論 草 木 ， 自 利 巴 嫩 的 香 柏 樹 直 到 牆 上 長 的 牛 膝 草 ， 又 講 論 飛 禽 走 獸 、 昆 蟲 水 族 。

34 A nd there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.

天 下 列 王 聽 見 所 羅 門 的 智 慧 ， 就 都 差 人 來 聽 他 的 智 慧 話 。
