Yacquub 3 ~ James 3

1 M acallimiin badan ha noqonina, walaalahayow, idinkoo garanaya inaynu heli doonno xukun ka sii weyn.

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

2 W aayo, dhammaanteen wax badan baynu ku gafnaa. Haddii nin ku gafi waayo hadalka, kaasu waa nin kaamil ah, wuuna xakamayn karaa jidhka oo dhan.

For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

3 H addaba haddaynu fardaha afkooda xakame gelinno inay ina addeecaan, jidhkooda oo dhanna waynu jeedinnaa.

Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

4 O gaada, xataa doonniyaha, in kastoo ay waaweyn yihiin, oo dabaylo waaweynu kaxeeyaan, weliba waxaa loogu jeediyaa shukaan aad u yar meeshii ninka wada qushigiisu doonayo.

Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

5 S idaas oo kalena carrabku waa qayb yar, waxyaalo waaweyn buuna ku faanaa. Bal eega dab yaru intuu qoryo shido.

Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

6 C arrabkuna waa dab, waana dunida xaqdarrada. Carrabku wuxuu ku dhex jiraa xubnaheenna, waana kan wasakheeya jidhka oo dhan oo ololiya orodka abuurista, oo jahannamadu isagay ololisaa.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

7 C ayn walba oo ah dugaag, iyo haad, iyo waxa bogga ku gurguurta, iyo waxa badda ku jiraba waa la rabbeeyaa, oo waxaa lagu rabbeeyey dabiicadda dadka.

For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

8 L aakiin ninna ma rabbayn karo carrabka; waa shar rogrogmada, oo waxaa ka buuxda sunta wax disha.

But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

9 I sla isagaynu ku ammaannaa Rabbiga iyo Aabbaha, oo isla isagaynu ku habaarnaa dadka Ilaah ekaantiisa laga abuuray.

Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

10 I sku af baa waxaa ka soo baxa ammaan iyo habaar. Walaalahayow, waxyaalahanu waa inaanay sidaas noqon.

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

11 I shu miyey isku meel ka soo wada daysaa biyo macaan iyo kuwa qadhaadh?

Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

12 W alaalahayow, geed berde ahu miyuu dhali karaa saytuun, ama geed canab ahu miyuu dhali karaa midho berde ah? Sidaas oo kalena biyo dhanaanu macaan ma ay noqon karaan. Xigmadda Beenta Ah Iyo Tan Runta Ah

Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

13 K umaa idinku dhex jira oo xigmad iyo waxgarasho leh? Shuqulladiisa ha ku muujiyo dabiicaddiisa wanaagsan, isagoo leh qabowga xigmadda.

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

14 H addaad xaasidnimo qadhaadh iyo iskala qaybqaybin ku haysataan qalbigiinna, ha faanina, runtana been ha ka sheegina.

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 X igmaddaasu ma aha tan kor ka soo degta, laakiin waa tan dhulka iyo nafta iyo jinniyada.

This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 W aayo, meeshii xaasidnimo iyo iskala qaybqaybinu ku jiraan, meeshaas waxaa ku jira iskuqasnaan iyo falniin kasta oo shar leh.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

17 L aakiin xigmaddii kor ka timaadaa horta waa daahir, dabadeedna waa nabad iyo qabow iyo mid si dhib yar loola heshiiyo, oo waxaa ka buuxa naxariis iyo midho wanaagsan, mana leh u-kala-eexasho ama labaweji.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

18 M idhaha xaqnimada nabad waa loogu beeraa kuwa nabadda ka shaqeeya.

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
