1 A sí se acabó toda la obra que hizo Salomón para la casa de Jehová. Luego metió Salomón las ofrendas que David, su padre, había consagrado: la plata, el oro y todos los demás utensilios, y lo puso todo en los tesoros de la casa de Dios. Salomón traslada el Arca al Templo

Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.

2 E ntonces Salomón reunió en Jerusalén a los ancianos de Israel, a todos los príncipes de las tribus, y a los jefes de las familias de los hijos de Israel, para que trasladaran el Arca del pacto de Jehová desde la Ciudad de David, que es Sión.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.

3 Y se congregaron junto al rey todos los hombres de Israel, para la fiesta solemne del mes séptimo.

Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.

4 C uando llegaron todos los ancianos de Israel, los levitas tomaron el Arca,

And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.

5 y la llevaron, junto con el Tabernáculo de reunión y todos los utensilios del santuario que estaban en el Tabernáculo. Los sacerdotes y los levitas los llevaron.

And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.

6 E l rey Salomón y toda la congregación de Israel que se había reunido con él delante del Arca, sacrificaron ovejas y bueyes, que por ser tantos no se pudieron contar ni calcular.

Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

7 L os sacerdotes metieron el Arca del pacto de Jehová en su lugar, en el santuario de la Casa, en el Lugar santísimo, bajo las alas de los querubines;

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims:

8 p ues los querubines extendían las alas sobre el lugar del Arca, cubriendo así tanto el Arca como sus barras por encima.

for the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

9 E hicieron salir las barras, de modo que se vieran las cabezas de las barras del Arca delante del Lugar santísimo, pero no se veían desde fuera; y allí están hasta el día de hoy.

And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.

10 E n el Arca no había nada más que las dos tablas que Moisés había puesto en Horeb, las tablas del pacto que Jehová había hecho con los hijos de Israel cuando salieron de Egipto.

There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.

11 C uando los sacerdotes salieron del santuario (porque todos los sacerdotes que se hallaban presentes habían sido santificados, sin tener en cuenta su distribución por turnos),

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:

12 l os levitas cantores, todos los de Asaf, los de Hemán y los de Jedutún, junto con sus hijos y sus hermanos, vestidos de lino fino, estaban con címbalos, salterios y arpas al oriente del altar. Con ellos había ciento veinte sacerdotes que tocaban trompetas.

also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

13 H acían sonar, pues, las trompetas y cantaban al unísono, alabando y dando gracias a Jehová. Y sucedió que mientras ellos alzaban la voz al son de las trompetas, de los címbalos y de los otros instrumentos de música, y alababan a Jehová diciendo: «Porque él es bueno, porque su misericordia es para siempre», una nube llenó la Casa, la casa de Jehová.

it came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

14 Y no podían los sacerdotes estar allí para ministrar, por causa de la nube; porque la gloria de Jehová había llenado la casa de Dios.

so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
