2 M y help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

Le secours me vient de l'Éternel, Qui a fait les cieux et la terre.

3 H e will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Il ne permettra point que ton pied chancelle; Celui qui te garde ne sommeillera point.

4 B ehold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

Voici, il ne sommeille ni ne dort, Celui qui garde Israël.

5 T he Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

L'Éternel est celui qui te garde, L'Éternel est ton ombre à ta main droite.

6 T he sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

Pendant le jour le soleil ne te frappera point, Ni la lune pendant la nuit.

7 T he Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

L'Éternel te gardera de tout mal, Il gardera ton âme;

8 T he Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

L'Éternel gardera ton départ et ton arrivée, Dès maintenant et à jamais.
