1 到 那 日 ， 耶 和 華 必 用 他 剛 硬 有 力 的 大 刀 刑 罰 鱷 魚 ─ 就 是 那 快 行 的 蛇 ， 刑 罰 鱷 魚 ─ 就 是 那 曲 行 的 蛇 ， 並 殺 海 中 的 大 魚 。

In that day Jehovah with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the swift serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea.

2 當 那 日 ， 有 出 酒 的 葡 萄 園 ， 你 們 要 指 這 園 唱 歌 說 ：

In that day: A vineyard of wine, sing ye unto it.

3 我 ─ 耶 和 華 是 看 守 葡 萄 園 的 ； 我 必 時 刻 澆 灌 ， 晝 夜 看 守 ， 免 得 有 人 損 害 。

I Jehovah am its keeper; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.

4 我 心 中 不 存 忿 怒 。 惟 願 荊 棘 蒺 藜 與 我 交 戰 ， 我 就 勇 往 直 前 ， 把 他 一 同 焚 燒 。

Wrath is not in me: would that the briers and thorns were against me in battle! I would march upon them, I would burn them together.

5 不 然 ， 讓 他 持 住 我 的 能 力 ， 使 他 與 我 和 好 ， 願 他 與 我 和 好 。

Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; yea, let him make peace with me.

6 將 來 雅 各 要 扎 根 ， 以 色 列 要 發 芽 開 花 ； 他 們 的 果 實 必 充 滿 世 界 。

In days to come shall Jacob take root; Israel shall blossom and bud; and they shall fill the face of the world with fruit.

7 主 擊 打 他 們 ， 豈 像 擊 打 那 些 擊 打 他 們 的 人 嗎 ？ 他 們 被 殺 戮 ， 豈 像 被 他 們 所 殺 戮 的 嗎 ？

Hath he smitten them as he smote those that smote them? or are they slain according to the slaughter of them that were slain by them?

8 你 打 發 他 們 去 ， 是 相 機 宜 與 他 們 相 爭 ； 颳 東 風 的 日 子 ， 就 用 暴 風 將 他 們 逐 去 。

In measure, when thou sendest them away, thou dost content with them; he hath removed them with his rough blast in the day of the east wind.

9 所 以 ， 雅 各 的 罪 孽 得 赦 免 ， 他 的 罪 過 得 除 掉 的 果 效 ， 全 在 乎 此 ： 就 是 他 叫 祭 壇 的 石 頭 變 為 打 碎 的 灰 石 ， 以 致 木 偶 和 日 像 不 再 立 起 。

Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, so that the Asherim and the sun-images shall rise no more.

10 因 為 堅 固 城 變 為 淒 涼 ， 成 了 撇 下 離 棄 的 居 所 ， 像 曠 野 一 樣 ； 牛 犢 必 在 那 裡 吃 草 ， 在 那 裡 躺 臥 ， 並 吃 盡 其 中 的 樹 枝 。

For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.

11 枝 條 枯 乾 ， 必 被 折 斷 ； 婦 女 要 來 點 火 燒 著 。 因 為 這 百 姓 蒙 昧 無 知 ， 所 以 ， 創 造 他 們 的 必 不 憐 恤 他 們 ； 造 成 他 們 的 也 不 施 恩 與 他 們 。

When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off; the women shall come, and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have compassion upon them, and he that formed them will show them no favor.

12 以 色 列 人 哪 ， 到 那 日 ， 耶 和 華 必 從 大 河 ， 直 到 埃 及 小 河 ， 將 你 們 一 一 地 收 集 ， 如 同 人 打 樹 拾 果 一 樣 。

And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah will beat off his fruit from the flood of the River unto the brook of Egypt; and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.

13 當 那 日 ， 必 大 發 角 聲 ， 在 亞 述 地 將 要 滅 亡 的 ， 並 在 埃 及 地 被 趕 散 的 ， 都 要 來 ， 他 們 就 在 耶 路 撒 冷 聖 山 上 敬 拜 耶 和 華 。

And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great trumpet shall be blown; and they shall come that were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and they that were outcasts in the land of Egypt; and they shall worship Jehovah in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
