Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

2 J acayl ku socda siduu Masiixuba idiin jeclaa, oo uu nafsaddiisii inoogu bixiyey inuu Ilaah u ahaado qurbaan iyo allabari oo uu ahaado caraf udgoon.

and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

3 L aakiinse sida ay quduusiinta ugu eg tahay, marnaba yaan dhexdiinna laga sheegin sino, iyo wasakh oo dhan, iyo damacnimo,

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

4 i yo ceeb, iyo hadal nacasnimo ah, iyo kaftan bilaash ah, oo aan idinku habboonayn, laakiinse waxaa idinku wacan mahadnaqid.

neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

5 W aayo, taas waad taqaaniin in dhillay, ama qof wasakh ah, ama nin damac xun oo sanam caabudaa, uusan innaba dhaxal ku lahayn boqortooyada Masiix iyo Ilaah.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

6 N innaba yuusan idinku khiyaanayn hadal aan micne lahayn; waayo, waxyaalahaas daraaddood ayaa cadhada Ilaah ugu soo degtaa carruurta caasinimada.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

7 S idaas daraaddeed ha ahaanina kuwa iyaga waxyaalahaas la qaybsada; waayo, mar baad ahaydeen gudcur,

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

8 h aatanse waxaad Rabbiga ku tihiin nuur; haddaba u socda sida carruurta nuurka,

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

9 w aayo, midhaha nuurku waxay ku wada jiraan wanaag iyo xaqnimo iyo run oo dhan.

(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

10 T ijaabiya waxa Rabbigu aad ugu farxo,

proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

11 o o innaba xidhiidh ha la yeelanina shuqullada aan midhaha lahayn oo gudcurka, laakiinse kashifa;

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

12 w aayo, waxay qarsoodiga ku sameeyaan waa ceeb xataa in laga hadlo.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

13 L aakiinse wax kastaba markii la kashifo ayaa lagu muujiyaa nuurka; waayo, wax alla wixii la muujiyaaba waa nuur.

But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

14 S idaas daraaddeed isagu wuxuu yidhi, Kaaga hurdow toos, oo kuwii dhintay ka kac, oo Masiixuna waa ku iftiimin doonaa.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

15 H addaba ka digtoonaada sidaad u socotaan, oo ha u soconina sida kuwo aan caqli lahayn, laakiinse u socda sida kuwo caqli leh.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

16 W akhtiga ka faa'iidaysta, maxaa yeelay, maalmuhu shar bay leeyihiin.

redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17 S idaas daraaddeed nacasyo ha ahaanina, laakiinse garta waxa ay doonista Rabbigu tahay.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

18 H a ku sakhraamina khamriga rabshadu ku jirto, laakiinse Ruuxu ha idinka buuxsamo.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

19 I skula hadla sabuurro iyo heeso ammaan ah iyo gabayo xagga ruuxa, idinkoo gabyaya oo Rabbiga qalbigiinna ka ammaanaya.

speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

20 M ar kasta Ilaaha Aabbaha ah wax walba mahad ugu naqa magaca Rabbigeenna Ciise Masiix.

giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

21 M idkiinba midka kale ha iska hoosaysiiyo idinkoo Masiixa ka cabsanaya. Nolosha Masiixiyiinta Iyo Xaasaskooda

submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

22 D umar yahow, nimankiinna ka dambeeya sidaad Rabbiga uga dambaysaan.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23 W aayo, ninku waa madaxa afada sida Masiixuba u yahay madaxa kiniisadda isagoo ah badbaadiyaha jidhka.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24 L aakiinse sida kiniisaddu uga dambayso Masiixa, afooyinkuna ha uga dambeeyeen nimankooda xagga wax kastaba.

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 N imankow, idinkuna afooyinkiinna u jeclaada siduu Masiixuba u jeclaaday kiniisadda oo uu nafsaddiisii u bixiyey iyada aawadeed,

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 i nuu quduus ka dhigo oo ku nadiifiyo maydhidda biyaha xagga erayga,

that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 s i uu kiniisadda isugu keeno iyadoo qurux badan, oo aan lahayn ama bar ama duudduub ama wax la mid ah, laakiinse inay ahaato mid quduus ah oo aan iin lahayn.

that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 H addaba sidaas oo kale nimanka waxaa ku waajib ah inay afooyinkooda u jeclaadaan sida jidhkooda oo kale. Waayo, kii afadiisa jeclaadaa wuxuu jeclaadaa nafsaddiisa;

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 m axaa yeelay, ninna weligiis ma nebcaan jidhkiisa, laakiinse wuu quudiyaa, wuuna xannaaneeyaa, sida Masiixuba u xannaaneeyo kiniisadda;

For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

30 w aayo, innagu waxaynu nahay xubnihii jidhkiisa.

for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 O o sababtaas aawadeed nin wuxuu ka tegayaa aabbihiis iyo hooyadiis, wuxuuna la joogayaa naagtiisa, oo labaduba waxay noqonayaan isku jidh.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 Q arsoodiganu waa weyn yahay, laakiinse waxaan ka hadlayaa Masiixa iyo kiniisadda.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

33 H abase yeeshee idinka midkiin waluba afadiisa ha u jeclaado sida naftiisa oo kale, oo afaduna ninkeeda ha maamuusto.

Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
