1 U pon God alone doth my soul rest peacefully; from him is my salvation.

2 H e only is my rock and my salvation; my high fortress: I shall not be greatly moved.
Only -- He my rock, and my salvation, My tower, I am not much moved.
3 H ow long will ye assail a man; will ye, all of you, to break him down as a bowing wall or a tottering fence?
Till when do ye devise mischief against a man? Ye are destroyed all of you, As a wall inclined, a hedge that is cast down.
4 T hey only consult to thrust down from his excellency; they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth, but in their inward part they curse. Selah.
Only -- from his excellency They have consulted to drive away, They enjoy a lie, with their mouth they bless, And with their heart revile. Selah.
5 U pon God alone, O my soul, rest peacefully; for my expectation is from him.
Only -- for God, be silent, O my soul, For from Him my hope.
6 H e only is my rock and my salvation; my high fortress: I shall not be moved.
Only -- He my rock and my salvation, My tower, I am not moved.
7 W ith God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.
On God my salvation, and my honour, The rock of my strength, my refuge in God.
8 C onfide in him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before him: God is our refuge. Selah.
Trust in Him at all times, O people, Pour forth before Him your heart, God a refuge for us. Selah.
9 M en of low degree are only vanity; men of high degree, a lie: laid in the balance, they go up together than vanity.
Only -- vanity the low, a lie the high. In balances to go up they than vanity lighter.
10 P ut not confidence in oppression, and become not vain in robbery; if wealth increase, set not your heart upon it.
Trust not in oppression, And in robbery become not vain, Wealth -- when it increaseth -- set not the heart.
11 O nce hath God spoken, twice have I heard this, that strength unto God.
Once hath God spoken, twice I heard this, That `strength with God.'
12 A nd unto thee, O Lord, loving-kindness; for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
And with Thee, O Lord, kindness, For Thou dost recompense to each, According to his work!
