1 I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing praises to You before the gods.

I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

2 I will bow down toward Your holy temple And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

3 O n the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul.

In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

4 A ll the kings of the earth will give thanks to You, O Lord, When they have heard the words of Your mouth.

All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of thy mouth.

5 A nd they will sing of the ways of the Lord, For great is the glory of the Lord.

Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.

6 F or though the Lord is exalted, Yet He regards the lowly, But the haughty He knows from afar.

Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

7 T hough I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

8 T he Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
