1 H a-lê-lu-gia! Phước cho người nào kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va, Rất ưa thích điều răn Ngài!

Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 C on cháu người sẽ cường thạnh trên đất; Dòng dõi người ngay thẳng sẽ được phước.

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 C ủa cải và giàu có đều ở trong nhà người, Và sự công bình người còn đến đời đời.

Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5 P hước cho người nào hay làm ơn, và cho mượn! Khi người bị kiện ắt sẽ được đoán xét cách chánh trực.

A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 N gười cũng chẳng hề bị lay động; Kỷ niệm người công bình còn đến đời đời.

Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 N gười không sợ cái tin hung; Lòng người vững bền, tin cậy nơi Đức Giê-hô-va.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

8 L òng người kiên định, chẳng sự chi, Cho đến khi người thấy các cừu địch mình bị báo.

His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

9 N gười vải tiền tài, bố thí kẻ thiếu thốn; Sự công bình người còn đến đời đời. Sừng người sẽ được ngước lên cách vinh hiển.

He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 K ẻ ác sẽ thấy, bèn tức giận, Nghiến răng, và bị tiêu ta; Sự ước ao của kẻ ác sẽ hư mất đi.

The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
