1 ل َيْتَ اللهَ يَستَجِيبُ لَكَ فِي ضِيقِكَ. لَيْتَ اسْمَ إلَهِ يَعقُوبَ يَرْفَعُكَ وَيَحْمِيكَ.

The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

2 ل َيْتَهُ يُرسِلُ لَكَ عَوْناً مِنْ هَيكَلِ قُدْسِهِ. لَيْتَهُ يَسنِدُكَ مِنْ صِهْيَوْنَ.

send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

3 ل َيْتَهُ يَتَذَكَّرُ كُلَّ تَقدِماتِكَ مِنَ الدَّقِيقِ، وَيَقبَلُ ذَبِيحَتَكَ. سِلاهْ

remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

4 ل َيتَهُ يُعطِيكَ مُشْتَهَياتِ قَلْبِكَ، لَيتَهُ يُنجِحُ كُلَّ خُطَطِكَ.

Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

5 ل َيتَنا نَفرَحُ بِنَصْرِكَ، وَنَبْتَهِجُ بِاسْمِ إلَهِنا. وَلَيتَ اللهَ يُحَقِّقُ كُلَّ طِلْباتِكَ.

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.

6 ع َرَفْتُ الآنَ أنَّ اللهَ سَيُنَجِّي مَلِكَهُ المَمسُوحَ. سَيَستَجِيبُ مِنْ سَماواتِهِ المُقَدَّسَةِ، وَبِيَمِينِهِ سَيُحرِزُ نَصْراً عَظِيماً.

Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

7 ب َعضُهُمْ يَفتَخِرُ بِمَركَباتِهِ، وَبَعضُهُمْ بِخَيلِهِ. أمّا نَحنُ فَنَذْكُرُ اسْمَ إلَهِنا وَنَفْتَخِرُ بِهِ.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

8 ه َؤُلاءِ يَسقُطُونَ وَيُخضَعُونَ. أمّا نَحنُ فَنَصْمِدُ وَنَغلِبُ.

They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

9 ي َستِجِيبُ لَنا اللهُ حِينَ نَدعُوهُ، وَسَيَنصُرُ المَلِكَ.

Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.
