I srael terminou de matar os habitantes de Ai no campo e no deserto, onde os tinha perseguido; eles morreram ao fio da espada. Depois disso, todos os israelitas voltaram à cidade de Ai e mataram os que lá haviam ficado.

When Israel had finished slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field and in the wilderness into which they pursued them, and they were all fallen by the sword until they were consumed, then all the Israelites returned to Ai and smote it with the sword.
