K ur Izraeli mbaroi së vrari tërë banorët e Ait në fushë dhe në shkretëtirë ku ata e kishin ndjekur, dhe u therën të gjithë deri sa u shfarosën të tërë, gjithë Izraeli u kthye në drejtim të Ait dhe i ra me shpatë.

When Israel had finished slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field and in the wilderness into which they pursued them, and they were all fallen by the sword until they were consumed, then all the Israelites returned to Ai and smote it with the sword.
