Б ог же отвратился и оставил их служить воинству небесному, как написано в книге пророков: дом Израилев! приносили ли вы Мне заколения и жертвы в продолжение сорока лет в пустыне?

But God turned and delivered them up to worship and serve the host (stars) of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets: Did you offer to Me slain beasts and sacrifices for forty years in the wilderness (desert), O house of Israel?
