A tunci Dumnezeu S-a întors de la ei şi i-a lăsat să se închine oştirii cerului, aşa cum este scris în Cartea Profeţilor: „Mi-aţi adus voi jertfe şi daruri de mâncare, timp de patruzeci de ani în pustie, Casă a lui Israel?

But God turned and delivered them up to worship and serve the host (stars) of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets: Did you offer to Me slain beasts and sacrifices for forty years in the wilderness (desert), O house of Israel?
