H e took two bulls and cut them in pieces and sent them through the land of Israel with the men who had brought the news, saying, “This will be done to the bulls of those who will not come out after Saul and Samuel.” The fear of the Lord came upon the people, and they all came out together.

A luat o pereche de boi, i-a tăiat în bucăţi şi a trimis bucăţile, prin mesageri, în toate teritoriile lui Israel, spunând: „Aşa se va face cu boii oricui nu îl urmează pe Saul şi pe Samuel.“ Groaza Domnului a intrat în popor, astfel că ei au ieşit la luptă ca un singur om.
