H e took two bulls and cut them in pieces and sent them through the land of Israel with the men who had brought the news, saying, “This will be done to the bulls of those who will not come out after Saul and Samuel.” The fear of the Lord came upon the people, and they all came out together.

Y tomando un par de bueyes, los cortó en piezas, y los envió por todos los términos de Israel por mano de mensajeros, diciendo: Cualquiera que no saliere en pos de Saúl y en pos de Samuel, así será hecho a sus bueyes. Y cayó temor del SEÑOR sobre el pueblo, y salieron como un solo hombre.
