a nd sandals, old and patched, on their feet, and old garments upon them, and all the bread of their provision is dry -- it was crumbs.

وَارتَدُوا أحذِيَةً مُهتَرِئَةً مُرَقَّعَةً وَثِياباً مُهتَرِئَةً. وَكانَ كُلُّ خُبْزِهِمْ يابِساً أوْ مُتَعَفِّناً أوْ مُتَكَسِّراً.
